Sir, first and foremost thank you for your service. I’m a disabled vet too. Also, I’m sorry that your dad was taken from you and the trauma you still experience- it’s a terrible shame. I hope you find peace. Although many people find mob stories interesting, and many are- you are living proof that the life is not worth the destruction, treachery and trauma that the mob leaves in its path.
@SaverioEboli I see thanks for the reply I was just wondering. You probably wouldn't say if you were anyways haha you are old school. You have lead an interesting life thanks for sharing it.
Spoke with patsys grandson through my association with a mutual friend about this years ago and always wanted a book on this. Such a mysterious double murder which has never been fully revealed. They say the Gambinos did it, they say Tommy took a loan from Carlo and that is was political maneuvering on Carlo’s part to install Funzi Tieri…Shows that even the west side as highly regarded as they are, still had many internal problems and were not as tight knit as they let the Gambinos have their alleged way with him. Similar to what happened to Frank Piccolo in CT but vice versa.
He came to Arthur Avenue and loved to play cards with my father and brother. He was an interesting man, very intelligent and kind. Do you remember Dominick Crea?
@@SaverioEboli Of course I do ..I remember you, Lynn. I remember you coming to talk to my dad after the tragedy. Camille and I were just talking about you and then my son Dominick called me in the room when you were giving your interview. I remember Aunt Mary, Maryann. You were such a part of our lives. I recently ordered your book.
A man wants to be proud of his father. But knowing who and what Tommy Eboli was must make it hard for Xavier. Tommy Eboli's shortcomings were not those of an ordinary father. Torturing, maiming, robbing, killing- that's some legacy. We can romanticize them in movies and novels, and talk about how devoted they were to their families. But their real families- Genovese in Eboli's case- were made up of twisted men with too many secrets and a lifetime of blood on their hands.
@vestibulate Who are you? I guess nobody ever told you in your life, you really don’t have to say absolutely everything that comes into your mind you know. It’s the man’s father, have a little respect for that. He’s gone 50 years now, this is part of history, part of this country’s history. If are interested ok, if not that’s ok too, but you don’t have to be out here telling a son that his father was no good, you know what I mean? And what do you know about it anyway to think that you should open your big mouth. Enough said
Carlo Gambino was behind this hit...so he can put a puppet boss in the Genovese family...Eboli was A threat to Carlo ..and knew don't Carlo Gambino was a snake
You think that Carlo Gambino or anybody else could put in a puppet over those guys, no way. Never happen in a million years. That’s a myth, Gambino had nothing to do with it. Stop reading Wikipedia

@ it’s so nice to hear from you! Lynne passed away 10 years ago. Hope you and your family are all well. Thanks Xavier
He’s a good looking old dude
Why was Louie Eboli in Chicago?
He lived there all his life
His father never was the boss of the family. He was the acting underboss and later official underboss

1972
A different type of life Thomas Eboli led..those guys played by some different rules.
