OK, yes my crash at the very end hurt, smacked my elbow on the road trying to save my GoPro😊.. NERANG HAS A SMOOTH, FAST & FLOWY TRAIL LOOP - Words no SEQ Rider would ever believe but its true, the new Casuarina Loop is just that and it is fun. Has anyone else ridden here yet and whats your thoughts on this new loop?
I must be the odd one. I love rocky trails especially at nerang. 3 hills and rocky horror my favourites. Good luck with the surgery and speedy recovery Craig.
Legend thanks for the well wishes. You’re not alone, I absolutely love Nerang’s trails, Baileys has become my new fave again since it’s been blown out and rutted, 3 Hills is still one of my top 3 for sure.
That was always a great video Craig, really cool trails and great riding brother. Legendary how you rock these trails and as always it was a pleasure to watch you. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. Congrats on the 4000 subscribers. Ride on and have a great week🤙
Hey @DingleBerryMTB it’s such a great little loop. I’m super keen to go back on my MTB as I think that climb will be a great one to increase fitness without brutal climbs.
Nice 👍 will get out this week to check this out! Not good news re knee, hope you had a few uploads tucked away …all the best for surgery mate 👍💪 speedy recovery
Thanks heaps Legend, you will love this one… Yeah the knee sucks but it’s just a small hurdle, I’ll clear it eventually. Trying to rack up as many rides & recordings as possible so I’ll have plenty of editing time 😬👊
The Big Fisho living up to his RUclips name. Rolling with flow and momentum. Love how you look at trails differently and see things sometimes the untrained eye might not see. It’s started to happen more and more for me each time I ride and it makes it so much fun thanks to some bloke I know 😂. Sick video dude and such a sick trail. Hopefully we get to rip it together before surgery 🤘🏽
Nice video bloke and great looking tracks with awesome bush surrounds, I remember riding the old nerangatang north shore years ago and stubbled across a big jump line in the bush that was epic.I used to ride there now and then was always a good joint.
Thanks Mark as always mate👌.Wow you are going well back, was the old jump line you’re refering to out west side just inside the back end of Never ending?
@@FlowmentumMTB Ohh im not sure man on the location, Was proper do or die doubles had timber sleepers used to biuld up the take off and landing ramps , Just trying to remember hahaha.
I've been riding this trail solid for about a week and a half and wow I've been waiting for something like this for years! Well done to the trail builders. Please don't anyone ride it in the wet let's keep just like this
Yes it has been needed at Nerang for sure, nothing solid has really happened since the opening of Taipan which is just not that great right now. Agreed on riding in the wet, its something that really really furiates me.
It was Trail Works who built the track. I seen them working on the track there a few months back and stopped to chat with them. Agree they have done a awesome job 👏.
Thanks Troy, I figured it was as they have done the other works in there like Taipan and it’s soo Trail Works in design… You could never be disappointed with the work they do.
Ahhh I figured it may have been, a trail is the fingerprint to the builder and the crew at TrailWorx are masters of flow and jumps. This trail is so reminiscent of Flying Cloud when it first opened.
Hey mate, you’ve been on the Jam2 SL for a while. Im considering buying it or the Trek Slash+ Any limitations with the Jam? I have ridden the Normal Slash high pivot in Derby and it was impressive.
Hey Mark, yep I’ve had the bike since March, I had to have it after a test ride. Put the E-bike aspect aside and I’m still riding a beautiful Carbon ride with multiple geo adjustments from the head tube angle to the BB height to the rear wheel/chainstay lengths. Add in the Fazua ride 60 motor and I’ve nothing to complain about. The Fazua motor is something special, I’m 110kg and don’t even use Turbo mode, Carrie’s me up the steps easy and I get app 50km per charge. I’m a fan of Trek but their lightweight uses the TQ 50nm motor which I found was just that little bit underpowered for sone of the bigger climbs, still a nice assist but just doesn’t have the kick that the Fazua has. Best part is the current price on the Jam2 SL, I think you can pick them up for around $7500 at the mo. REP is $9990

New flow capital of SEQ haha
Looks insanely good👌🏼
Be better if there were some longer gaps to jump due to the speed you can get but it is a green trail and it flows well….
ALL BEST MR FLOW! Cool, hopefully more Xc races hit SE QLD c’mon organisers
Thanks heaps, I hear there may be a revamp of the ole Comm Games Loop, if this is true then XC will return to Nerang 👊🤔
