When I was a teenager I used to be fan of a couple of bands. Nowadays I'm 27 and I continue enjoying many bands, even that bands I used to listen in the past. But I can't say anymore that I'm still their fan. With Winger is diferent. I say: I'm a Winger fan.
Kip's voice & good looks combined with Reb Beach's killer guitar playing made them a 1-2 punch that should have been given more credit. Unfortunately, they got lost in that 80's shuffle with Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, KISS, Def Leppard, Dokken & countless others.
It's sad that until PULL they didn't have this sound. I believe PULL was when they finally were able to do what they wanted without the record company "making" them be all pop rock sounding.
Sweet but, where's the first half of the song? Awesome lead though. I guess that's all this guy was totally concerned about.Def one of my fav Reb leads.That's an awesome shot at 1:13.Totally f'n awesome.This was one of the last songs I got into on the album.But now I love it.Def in the top 4.
Very complicated piece musically and vocally. No one can accuse Kip of playing one handed open E on this one. Nice little bass solo beginning around 1:15.
