I was watching one of Health’s videos several months ago and looking along his shop I could see a house. I thought you were straight across the road from him, your drive is but you have a long driveway alone the creek to get up to your house. In this video I can see his shop and house, so now I have a better lay of how you house’s set with each other. He has a lot of dirt to move to get a place big enough for a barn. Never did understand how he hurt his arm, just glad he’s doing a lot better. Would love to see a drone video of your property showing the road, driveway, house/shop, pasture, the barn layout and location of the future house. Things just keep getting better with each new video. Stay safe
It’s probably a good thing that it started raining. That soil looks real loose will that be a problem with erosion? Good to see a video from you it’s been awhile. I see red poppy ranch in the background in some of the videos. You guys really are closer that I guessed. I would think it’s nice to know you have like minded neighbors
If it were me I'd save all of those boulders for the front yard of your home when you get it built you will need some for stepping stones and I think a medium wadding pool in the front yard would be worth all of the trouble. I hope this helps.
dirt work,.... a pain in the tukas but oh so necessary! My grandfather did the initial excavation for the road into Yosemite on a Northwest 80 dragline. His stories match your cuts. only when I saw the shots from below looking up did the steepness of the slope make sense with your comments. wow! Pucker factor indeed!. WELL DONE! It will all make sense to us onlookers as you begin to tie the parts of the ranch together. pointing out where the shop was and then looking from the other angle , I began to understand the layout of all the parts to the property. Having Cedars place in the background helped, as i have seen the livestock across from them. Get that hand better! We all need to see you finish those stairs!
Pucker factor. Haaaaaahaaaaaa! Love that sense of humor!!! Love watching it all come together, this is 1000% better than anything out of Hollywood!! I thought it was really great too, when I realized that I could see your neighbors and I knew who they were! I love to watch that channel too !
No risk, no gain. Prayers for your safety. I just kept thinking that barn is going on a retaining wall nightmare!! From the top to the barn from the base down the hill...ugh... makes me tired just thinking of it! God give you strength Busted Wagon... smiles and blessings...
You are so right the video will not show how freighting steep that grade is! On a union job, you would be tied off to a dragline! You have to keep your mind on what and where the tracks are 100% of the time! Sure will be nice when it's cut down! Plant lots of ground cover ASAP!
Kinda steep!!! I don't like operating my Zero Turn Mower on areas that are just a little steep... Y'all Take Care & Stay Safe. ~ Carl & Judy Lamar County, ALABAMA. ~
Holy Moly!! If my husband did something like that I would have to leave for the day. That would terrify me something awful. I had a hard time just watching this video.
You are much braver than me. Putting your mark on that mountain, one small shovelful at a time. I was surprised at how much soil there was and less rock. God bless and keep safe.
Only by the grace of God did that fresh edge not collapse under the weight of the dozer. It would be wise to leave a couple feet buffer between the dozer and the edge. Stay safe.
Mindy you will be able to wave to cedar from your new barn...I was sitting on the edge of my seat with the bulldozer work and the Tyrell said he will put his seat belt on and I thought that was a really good idea...😊...hope his hand gets better quickly...cheers from Australia.
Wow! I could watch that dozer work all day if I didn't have work to do. Makes me curious if there's a channel showing mountainside dozer content exclusively. RUclips has everything so I suspect there is.
Please be careful. I lost a friend a short time ago. He was working on a tank dam and the dozer rolled and pinned him in under water. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
I find it amazing how much difference there is in land from acre to acre. From the video its showing other homes in the distance so it must be getting built up a quite a bit. I am lucky here in alaska... my nearest neighbor is a few miles away and the timber hides any other building going on. That is nice road building ground.... hopefully not too sandy and enough clay or rock to hold it up... great job
not just erosion. I am concerned about the stability of that large mass of soil on an incline when it gets saturated with water and becomes fluidized. Mudslide.
This hillside is alot of huge rocks. And small basketball sized rocks mixed with a kind of clay . Also as I cut the mountain I am burying boulders and logs.
Nice job. How wide is your pad going to be? How wide is the barn to be? Man it looks like a 20 foot wide pad for a 10 foot wide barn lol ! Yea I can see the pucker in this build. Stay safe.
I think you underestimated the pucker factor. Are you going to do pile driving to get a steady and secure base? Hope the injury heals soon. Michael (from Scotland)
Oh my... holy COW I couldn't watch some of this video I sped it ahead I am a coward LOLOL Sending lots of prayers for safety and hope you put some gas in that rig LOL
As long as you're belted in and you roll down the hill you have a 99% survival rate the 1% is only if you have a tree, post or other object comes through a window and impaled you. I run dozers and the ROPS is designed to save you. I don't know how many D8's I've seen roll down a mountain and they just roll them back over, check the fluids and put them back to work. Every dozer operator I've heard about getting killed is because they weren't belted in. My concern is all of the vegetation you're buried because it's going to decompose and give you some problems.
All I can say is WOW! Just WOW!

Looking good breaking new ground
After living on mountain acreage for 30 years I have come to the opinion you can never have enough flat land. Have fun. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are the best
Lord makes me nervous just watching 😳 Beautiful view .
Nice work!
Just watching gave me a pucker factor! I pray that the Lord keeps you safe.
You live right by Red Poppy Ranch! How cool you guys are neighbors. That road cut did look like pucker power to me!!
No way! Scary!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Oh my! awesome project!!
Hope the old cat keeps running trouble free

You need a number 5 skyhook to keep that dozer on the mountain.
Damn man!!! you're scaring the hell out of me driving on the side of that mountain
Just listening to that doser run makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Love it
You are a skilled man Terrel building a house with your bare hands and bull dozing a mountin.. Respect from Denmark, Be safe👍

Good video! Pucker factor 11😂
Definitely a pucker factor of 10. That is some skillful operating at the controls. That is a job I’d rather watch than do. Stay safe
Only by the grace of God did that fresh edge not collapse under the weight of the dozer. It would be wise to leave a couple feet buffer between the dozer and the edge.
Stay safe.
Is that Red Poppy Ranch in the background? FYI You are crazy!! But this is something my Dad would do! 🤣🤣🤣
Nice job guys, keep up the good work and thanks for bringing us along for the ride. Stay safe.

I could watch you guys for hours 👍 from me. Respect from Yorkshire (UK)
Your changing the footprint of your homestead it really looking great..be careful.
There is always that one guy. Takes it to the limit and succeeds.
Ha ha was watching this then noticed red poppy ranch never knew yous were so close.
...gettin' 'er done, good job, stay safe..

I almost needed a seat belt! Can't wait to see the next video
I wish you luck building on that barn site, but I don't think I would build on that soil with that steep mountain on either side.
Do you have to put in a retaining wall to stop erosion?
Please be careful. I lost a friend a short time ago. He was working on a tank dam and the dozer rolled and pinned him in under water. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
Yikes!!! Stay safe.
Pucker factor, learned a new one today... Lol, great job.
Eleven? ELEVEN!!?? Make that at least a FIFTEEN! Great SCOT!!

Hope all is well miss yall
I can tell you that the pucker factor for me would be 1000 on a sale 0 to 10 , y'all take care be safe god bless and take care of your hand
I'd be scared of waking up with the barn in my lap from sliding down the hill.
I LIKE THESE FOLKS BUT, THEY ARE HARDLY EVER ON?
Omg that was close… what are your plans to secure the hillside against erosion?
not just erosion.

How far are you from Red Poppy Ranch?
video never shows how steep it really is. Are you also worried about erosion down below the grade, Or is that not a problem where you live?
Oh my good god in heaven be careful,it was so scary I had to put my knitting down and hang on to the the arms of my chair 😂😂😂
You had me puckering in my seat.
Oh my... holy COW I couldn't watch some of this video I sped it ahead I am a coward LOLOL Sending lots of prayers for safety and hope you put some gas in that rig LOL

A lot of people own dogs that somehow have a resemblance to the owner - that dog they have resembles Terrel in a nice way - you think so?
Where did you all go?
