In 1974, I was in Singapore on business trip. A forest lumber company boss in Indonesia 41:18 wants to build a road from top of mountain to the lower ground to transport the lumber trees. It will cost multi million dollars to construct the road by some construction company. But the foreman of the lumber company said to the boss, give a CAT bulldozer and US$200k, I will give you the road. By watching this video, this story just come back to me in real life. Thanks much.
wow, what a great experiance sir👏
That has always been my job. I am in southern Oregon. I would also send time pushing off the rock pitt face. Many miles of logging road and fire trail. Dnew drive ways also. Some years in Alaska also out of Ketchikan and Artic circle. I enjoyed the thrill. Many didn't like to watch. I am trying to retire now. If they let me. D9L is still my favorite dozer.
I'm jealous
Ah yes. 11 years. D6H. Mostly not as steep, but some steeper in BC. Fond memories. Retired in PEI.
Excellent Drone footage. Why is that road so narrow? A good rain storm and it will wipe it out😮
I think they should have had an Excavator in combination with that Dozer.
Pekerjaan luar biasa 👍👍👍

Silly question lol why cut road in a slip zone the flanks tell u this ?
Coraggioso!!! Super !!! 👋👋👋
I cut a heap of tracks around my property, buy i was on my Massey Ferguson 35HP. With rear blade. Had to go back wards a lot. Need patience. 😂 would have loved a dozer
Ahahaha lol
Pretty small of a Dozer for work like this, takes twice as long
we dont have a bigger dozer sir
@@BulldozerMountainA big dozer would be clumsy on a job like this. This is a good size
The gooddest techonologyis ,powerful job.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊.။။
Nice job but when it rains, that hill side will wipe that road out.
hope not sir
Gotta cut a drainage ditch on the upper slope side of the road and install culverts at natural draining areas or one good rain will wash away chunks of the road.
You ain’t shittting brother!
I was thinking about that same thing. All that work for nothing !
That road will be fine if it rains. Rain will actually make it pack down better.
How do you storyboard a video project like this?
Rapaz aí o cara tem que ser bom em
Please fix the squeaky track
Great operator skills
From San Diego CA USA
If the tracks are not squeaking the dozer is not running.

yeah, welcome sir
I wonder what caused all the downed trees?
Just taking a guess here, but looks like they logged an area and burned the sections they couldn't get to
What happened to the forest?
I think I spotted some erosion silt fencing down below! 😂
the operator has to have balls the size of basketballs
Syphilisation comes to the jungle!
The dozer operator is not to smart, keeps trying to push full blades of dirt, start cutting from the right, each time go a little too the left, you will move 2 times the dirt.
Can't wait for the rain.
Nothing happen
I had a drive of a dozer a couple of time, can see much out the front.
Great experiance

Sure, these roads aren't for drug cartels.
is that a racism road? it looked like that dozer was hate speeching it a few times

I do that with a d11 every day...
wow, lots of diesel consumtion
Y si lo conoce y opera
Not the most efficient way to get the job done. Obviously this road is not meant for public use. But, an excavator and a dozer could have done a better job in half the time.
U totaly right sir
Maybe they get paid by the hour. And just need an access road, not a super highway.
Usually you rough it in. Then you worry about manicuring it and making it beautiful.

Questionable hillside??? That's the perfect ground. Loose dirt. Can't get any easier than that. Try doing that in solid rock and slate busting rock all day just to get a road barely wide enough to fit the dozer.
stop filming from outer space. stay with the front of the blade.
You did good ! The overhead view was the money shot !
What is this road going to be used for?
Can you give a gps location so we can find the area with a satellite picture?
Thank you.
logging and mining, it looks like the vegetation was hit chemicals prior to excavation. It reminds me of the jungle after getting sprayed with agent orange and it aftermath in Vietnam.
The operator is doing a great job I feel like he could load that dozer down heavier than what he
is doing that's a big dozer load that blade. LOL
For the love of all that is pure and good, if you are going to make a mountain road then make it wide enough for two way traffic.
Yeah….. with a median and sidewalks.
You’re not the most observant person.
@@FYMASMD you don't have much of a sense of humor either.
Its a one way!

00:35 - why glue the video together by throwing out the most interesting moments? Just moving the soil is not interesting!
Hello from Canada: I have seen the views of some people who believe these roads should be made for two way traffic!
In this type of soil and terrain that would be suicide. The trucks will have radio communication to know if one is coming up or going down, and there would be no other traffic until that truck finishes their trip.
Watching from Hill Country in Texas
what are the 3 onlookers doing Arthur in australia
In 2008, when I was working on the Trans Kalimantan road, mapping a new 78 km road dividing the Swagener mountains between West and Central Kalimantan with several stages, including executing the road form using 60 heavy equipment, we are grateful that we were safe from several mystical events that we went through.
The next torential rain it will be all gone with land slides

Amazing dozer cutting new road
Thanks 👍
I have a question. Had anybody ever gotten hurt on them dangerous roads? Like fallen down the hill on a machine. Looks real dangerous.
Makes more sense to cut a road on top of the mountains.Making a road on the side of the mountains will cause mud slides.
Just like you having kids makes the people dumber
How does that make any sense? You have to get to the top of the mountain and you can’t just go straight up the side to the top! That’s how mountain roads are built. They follow the contours and slowly go up maintaining a reasonable grade. 🤷🏽♂️
@@shk2564 How bout cutting down the top of the hill.Pushing dirt down towards the other hill.Ive seen roads cut like that in the mountains here in the US too.
If they put a Flux capacitor in the dozer and get it up to 88 mph, then they can jump time and then not need any roads.
Texas ❤ now lets make 2 lanes. Stay in your lane bro.
