Had it happen to me once. Every driver gets stuck at least once in their career. Taught me a very valuable lesson. Always be aware of the ground underneath the surface and NEVER take your eyes off the back tyres as you reverse. Stop as soon as you see the back wheels start to sink. I was rescued the same way to with the dozer shovel. The main reason they are using 6 wheelers instead of 8 wheelers is because 6 wheelers are lighter on the soft ground. Best of luck.
Thank you for sharing your good experience, but because the paint is too short, you can't use anything to pull it out. The best option is to push the stone to prevent it from breaking and push it back to push the switch like this.
@TruckAction If the tipper was empty the driver could've put it in 4 wheel drive and tried to crawl out. But with it loaded and bogged down the driver would've risked burning out the clutch. We did the right thing after getting stuck. Though I was pulled out of a hole in a quarry which was camouflaged with clay and looked solid, at one time and this was done with a chain and hook around the bottom member and the loader digger which was powerful enough to pull me out.
To have a truck body loaded like that,they should have have "barn door" type tailgate's and then the poor old driver would have to get out of the cab and dozer driver's are just as lazy

Its not that hsrd to leave a channel for the excess water to escape so the soil dumped has half a chance to dry out some before the stone is deposited.
So no one had a chain? I would fire the entire crew for wasting time. Absolutely no skill shown here at all until dozer gets to back of truck but he could have done that much sooner

Sand will displace its own volume of water the same as rock and stone does. Also will eventually settle in between the stones and fill in any gaps making it all more solid.
