What I like about the first three purge films are that they expand out, and show you the expansion of the areas and the expanding implications for that The Purge showing what happens and implications of being in the house and what happens to the one family, zoom out and you get Purge Anarchy which was happens and the implications mainly in the one city then zoom out for Purge Election Year and you get the what happens and the implications the whole country. Loved Your Next, I watched that without knowing anything about the film and it blew me away with how much fun it was.
@@kainlives7958 It's my opinion not bad taste. I prefer the remake of my bloody Valentine and I saw that OG when I was 7. So don't go saying stuff like that just because you don't agree. You obviously prefer the OG , good for you, I found it boring
Great list but no Home Alone! deeply unsettling film if you rob people. When a stranger calls is superb, the second sight release has the sequel included as well. Them is currently on sale in 101 films for £8.
Great list Barry 👌 i always loved the stranger calls remake , have you seen the British film hush ? Not sure what year it was from , it was about a guy and his girlfriend, his job was to change posters at petrol stations at night and when they're driving to the next one the back of a lorry open s and they see a girl ,it was set up north.
That's a pretty good list but I would put 'Black Christmas' (aka 'Silent Night, Evil Night') as #1. It's me, Billy.

The strangers and when a stranger calls is great movie's way to go 👍👍👍
For me, it has to be Kidnapped (2010). The whole film is comprised of only 12 shots, so a lot of long takes in the film. Gives a sense of realism.
Kidnapped was a “stab in the gut” of a movie. So very brutal and amazingly depraved
2 that you left out that are MUST watches:
Incident in a Ghostland (2018)
The Collector (2009)
Love Your Next 👍👍👍👍
A very underrated one is a horror/thriller home-invasion movie is “Door” (1988) it’s a Korean film
You should definitely check out the French film Inside (2007). It’s so intense. It’s definitely not for everyone but it’s incredibly impactful.
I actually prefer the remake to OG of when a stranger calls and I saw OG back when I was 12 😊🐾💜👍👋
Bad taste

I love Funny Games. The remake is just as good as the original but the remake is in my top 20 favorite horror and/or thrillers of all time
Great list no complaints
Phew! Haha

If Ben the Shovel Slayer had more screen time, I'd consider Home Alone as part of the list. 😅
@@WolfmansGotNards last shot is him waving to Kevin and family while smiling, shoveling the last of the dirt on top of Harry and Marv's corpses.
Straw dogs was class as well.
That's a really good choice.
Solid list, but after seeing Don't Breathe up there, how about The People Under the Stairs?
It's a little dated. But I still love that movie.
I would replace Sick with The Collector and I would agree with you on all of those.
Never seen The Collector either. Didn't even know it was a home invasion movie. 😱

Went to the cinema to see Hush. I also have it on Blu-ray. Great little sleeper hit.
@@WolfmansGotNards Ahh nice 👌 not just me then 👍
It's also on my list of horrors to review.
Funny Games is truly excellent
Seen it like five times
Great movie to show to others
Of people can class hocus pocus as horror you can get away with Hostage. Brilliant film 👍🐾💜
Hocus Pocus wouldn't be considered home invasion, even if it were pure horror.
@@WolfmansGotNards I know it just popped into my head as a comparison of what people class as horror 🤔👍
I frickin love Sick! Criminally underrated Kevin williamson film
There are no likeable characters and is mostly pathetic
@@kainlives7958 I disagree, Dylan sprayberry was a gem in that one
How is not The Slumber Party Massacre in this top?
What??
@@WolfmansGotNards I think my comment is well explained
Mischief Night 2013 is very good
Thrillers are related to horror imho
