the game does it automatically it makes invisible cuts depending on the sequence of the fight thats why you get the chorus every time you enter blade mode in the first ray fight mistral's vocals kick in in the final phase of her fight sundowner's vocals kick in when you break the last part of his shield sam's vocals start at the beginning, then stop when he drops his sword, then resume when he picks it back up it has to be this way is raiden's theme, equating him to a better/improved sam, so his vocals start immediately and end when he drops his sword in the qtes, resuming when he picks the sword back up.
and when he gets stabbed the nanos get confused because of how panicked armstrong is at the moment, he is freaking out which leads them to be at random places like the arms and the center

Raiden also figured it out but came out on top because he took no chances, whether it was out of intelligence or pure fury he made sure to dismantle and destroy Armstrong in his entirety.

During my first ever play through this sync happened during Armstrong's fight. I re-played his fight again and again and I never got the sync. This really makes me feel like the first playthrough was "The" Metal Gear Rising experience I needed.

Here it dosen't, unlike the rest of the bosses, the part you mean is when raiden grabs armstrong's heart (it's only for 5 seconds), here is no perfect timing in quick time events, making this is really unique
Armstrong's fight is in general awsome, the entire game pretty much everything has 100hp and you get more and can heal it pretty easily, the Armstrong gets thrown in and he also gets 200hp and can heal, it's pretty cool
