Yeah, Sundowner had to be a Big Buff Boss™ like he's shown in the game, but as for Khamsin, he's pretty agile with that giant axe, the only problem is poor moveset.
Sundowner's moves and damage suck though, on revengeance some of his attacks still 2 hit you instead of 1 hit. Also sundowner has very little move variety and typically loops the same 2 over and over again.
Lol sundowner you just walk behind him and parry the backwards shield bash as far as I've seen it's basically his only move when you go behind him and it's easier to stop.
The irony that part of Wolf’s story was how he lacks the brutality inherently in man, but Khamsin imo might have had the most brutal canonical execution of any boss just by virtue of having his innards messed up by a chainsaw, chucked into the air by said chainsaw after being ripped out of his armored body, then sliced to pieces by said chainsaw. Like you can choose to not really slice anybody up so aggressively as Raiden or Sam, but Wolf’s brutal chainsaw impalement is mandatory

My guess is that Blade Wolf grew to hate Khamsin so much over the course of the DLC that he was relishing taking him down.
The point of it is that he doesn't have the enate bloodlust of man because his mind only works on logic, man has emotions, which drives them to fight wars they don't believe in. The reason why blade wolf fights is because logically, this is the only path to his freedom.
My favorite part of this is it's all just so that Mistral can rub it in Sundowner's face that she was right about blade wolf having the potential to be a brutal killer
it's more like at the high point of every battle, like MG RAY gets lyrics as he is being cut up but is a machine through and through so he can't take raiden seriously more than he has been programmed to do from the beginning of the fight...

Wouldn't matter anyway since playing as Blade Wolf is wildly different than playing as Raiden. The only thing you'd need is parrying, but you can dodge most attacks anyway.
Well not right before but like maybe 3 years before since Sam encounters Wolf during his fight towards Armstrong and that was 2 years before MGR proper so yeah. Edit: it’s like probably a week instead of 3 years. I’ve played the DLC now and Mistral was part of the coup with Dolzaev so within the time span of a week

I just now finished Blade Wolf DLC. You can Parry his jump move and then you can sneak behind him or you can just straight go to 2 spots, one of them is near the cliff to the beach and the other one is the spot where it glitched for you (a.k.a Near Stairs).
@@darkss7171 I glitched in a different spot, a guerrilla saw me as it was bringing up results and I was doing an execution and when I was done it glitched me through the map and I died I was streaming when it happened but I didn't have VODS turned on sadly
playing with Wolf is quite strange, he is not as fast as Raider and his attacks take a long time, but it is a good DLC but I think it could be bigger and bigger in reality.

i hate that this song is consigned to the dlc so most people never hear it, despite being 1 of the best in a game full of bangers (its my personal favorite)

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance has hands down one the best OST for bossfights. My favourite bosstime of all time still is Monsoon with the epic soundtrack "Stains Of Time" that shit is a pure banger.
I have Idea to Khamsin OST when you fight: On 1st phase OST playing without a lyrics. When Khamsin's health dropped to 80%, he's making "Ax time!", Blade wolf attacking from behind and dealers 10% Health (OST play's without a lyrics as usual). 2nd phase: When Khamsin's health dropped to 40% he's says like that: "It's time to end you, b**ch!" He's charges at you and lyrics starts kick in "Heat of the desert" (his attacks become more intense). The song gets hung up on the "I'm the wind of destruction (all man who bend their will)" When Khamsin's health dropped to 5-3% he's making final attack and when Blade wolf repel this attack songs playing in "We fight for justice" and ends when Khamsin get cutted to pices
One of my favourite bosses for sure he's quite easy tbh but he's still allt of fun to play against and does feel like a actual DLC boss unlike armstong in sams fight which just throws all balance out the window
Can we all agree that the original Desperado variant of Bladewolf looks WAY cooler than the Maverick one? I get that its mwant to be sleek and agile, but it just looke silly, especially with the face. The Desperado one is bulkier and looks more utilitarian. The Maverick one looks like a Karambit. The Desperado one looks like a chainsaw, with a second, smaller chainsaw attached.

Khamsin has the health pool sundowner needed and sundowner has the aggression, moves, and damage khamsin needed.
