Dang, this didn't work, but this is the problem I have. I followed the steps exactly, however on the last step, when I pull up the NVIDIA Control Panel, I do not have the Display section on the left side bar. The only options I have are to 3D Settings and Video. There is nothing else. At least I an updated driver though.
Okay... I have what appears to be a feaky situation. however, since I've duplicated the issue on two HP laptops (1. WIN 10 & 1. WIN 11). Then maybe there is settings issue or a common faulty device issue. I'm unsure. I hope you have some insight. *Scenario:* *NOTE: ALL MY DRIVERS ARE UPDATED* *Display Settings* "Multiple Displays" Duplicate These Displays = Black Screen on Secondary Monitor/Screen (Says Out of Range) Extend These Displays = Monitor Correctly Displays Show only on 1 = Images Correctly Displayed on PC Only Show only on 2 = Images Correctly Displayed on Secondary Monitor/Screen Only *INTERESTING FACT* If I project the Laptop to my TV (Wirelessly) while still connected (hardwired) to the the Secondary Monitor and set the Display Option to Duplicate, It Duplicates accurately on BOTH the TV AND Secondary Monitor. 🤔 *What do I know?:* 1.) There is nothing wrong with the Resolution Settings because the images are properly displayed on every setting EXCEPT Duplicate. 2) It is not "Out of Range" for the same reasons as #2. Additionally it is connected by HDMI / VGA Connector and Not a Wireless Connection. 3) My Interpretation of 1 and 2 are both confirmed via the Interesting Fact aforementioned above. What could be causing this Problem on both HP Windows Laptops? Any Feedback/Help that you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.
Same Here! Have you looked under Display Settings (Multiple Displays). I have windows 11 and I have the Duplicate option, but it isn't working, only the 2 Extend options work. However, I do have Duplicate option in WIN 11. If I project wireless to my TV then I can duplicate 👀 and if it is still hardwired to my Monitor, it will suddenly duplicate, but not if the TV isn't connect. Woo Saa...
@@Nabiyah1 my duplicate doesnt work at all...had no issues with it on Win 10, but on 11, it shows up but when i click duplicate it does nothing at all, i use it to watch movies on my TV wirelessly but now i have to extend my display and drtag the screen into my TV and can duplicate my screen....i can still do it with extend or whatever but still annoying how duplicate wont work
@@PaperRoutePusherNot sure why my previous comments got deleted as soon as I posted it. SMH Here's my 3rd Attempt. O guess you can't mention certain websites? LOL "Got it. I know that's frustrating. There is a setting or something that has gotten changed with the recent update because I am running WIN 10 on one Laptop & WIN 11 on the other and both are doing the exact same thing. This won't fix your wireless problem but have you heard of an HDMI Splitter? You can find them on the place that starts with an "a" and ends with an "m" and has a gold arrow underneath for under $20. It will duplicate anything that you plug into the splitter without any additional settings from your device. Of course, it's wired, but it might be a reasonable solve while you hone down how to correct the "Duplicate" Option that you are having with your laptop/desktop PC. The one I know about is by the brand Keliiyo. If I find out what the issue is with mine. I'll come back here and post as a possible solve for you as well. Bless Up FAM!
