same here..i've done everything. Uninstall driver, reinstall driver, change settings, change cables. Could it be a Windows 11 bug?

It was the Device Manager Display Adapter that caused my second monitor to not be detected!

I did this as well!! I tried the other driver i had. didnt work,, then i tried my origional driver as it was working the day before and success! try using the other then if not, go back to origional and can work!
thanks it still does work in the device manager but a had to change the adapters then back to my old one

Its was a very simple solution in my case, both monitors cable should be connected different ports, example 2 monitors cable should be connected to graphic card 2 dp ports, not like using connector or splitter it won't work. Otherwise it only shows one display in both monitors.

Open nvidia control panel... Click on adjust resolution... Select display resolution with hdmi -TV... To your desired resolution and boom there goes ur duplicate screen with new resolution...
only thing that worked, everything else is just bullshit.
I just opened my Nvidia control panel and it auto detected my second monitor.

Bro is it safe to use DDU? I am getting an error from installing auto detect error 1603. Need help my second monitor is not working since my last unit is intel change to AMD now getting this issue.

My second monitor works when I’m not charging my laptop, but when I do . Second monitor just shuts down and can’t detect anymore

This is a bit confusing. If your laptop display is an intel graphics display and the external display is Nvidia, do you need to choose one or both? I just downloaded the Windows 11 update, and now my LG external monitor is not being detected. I had previously downloaded the Nvidia drivers onto my laptop. I plugged my laptop into my TV and I get the display just fine, but my my laptop will not detect the external LG monitor since the Windows update.
My monitor is connected, but when the laptop goes from off to on, I have to unplug it before the 2nd monitor is detected, every time it sleeps or shuts down.
i have had follow everything. it worked for me. how ever now I am having the same problem again cant connect to my second monitor.

I'm still having trouble. Updated everything to the most recent update and nothing it working unfortunately. I just got a HDMI splitter in the mail today to see if it would make a difference, and the 2nd monitor is on now, thankfully. Buuuut it still isn't letting me change the display

Hey RUclips I found way you could fix your monitors if you have a usb c adapter connected to your GTX card if you want watch tv on it and shows black screen so go to your device manager and go to your monitors and click on your monitor hit enable you welcome 🙏
