I work as a pilot in India and I have 1.2 CR CTC so after taxes I take home around 8.5 lakhs-10/month easily. Atleast my company is transparent and don't inflate the CTC like tech companies of which its mostly stocks and some random stuff. Maybe because of the crowd today opting for tech jobs, companies are inflating the CTC to fool people.

Bro, you shall also speak about taxation on salary. PF deductions and double taxations ( US +India) on stocks allocation/vest. This video is ultra superficial and does not depict a true picture. Ideally my experience says just do a 55%-60% of TCT, that's the amount you take home. So if the salary is 60 lpa, your take home will be 2.7 to 3 lpm.
You should also mention this income is pre tax income. And after paying taxes, it will come around 40 lakhs. And after all your expenses, you could have saved hardly 20 lakhs

It depends on your performance and company growth.
