Gojo says he had no intention of dying but I think he was lying 🤔 Bro literally scheduled his fight the same date as Getos death for his funeral, he entrusted his dead body to Yuuta, he made sure to kill the higher ups and leave it to Gakuganji on top of increasing his kill count to Getos, and lastly leaved Toji and Megumi task to Shoko. These actions seemed like people who tie all loose end and knots before they commit suicide. I did not want the real Gojo to comeback and was p confident it wasnt going to happen because narratively his students are still alive and kicking with plenty to still show for. But ngl part of me wanted him to just slightly show he was over his boyfriend. Whether Gojo and Geto were yaoi or not, its insane to me how obsessed Gojo was with Geto. He never got over that, never moved on from his trauma. Mayhaps the Sukuna fight did something to him but the talk about going North(the future)as someone new or going south(the past) staying as he is, I had a tiny hope he would choose North showing he overcame his trauma and was willing to finally connect with others besides Geto. I guess thats my only gripe. Like he can stay dead and yaoi but I was hoping he'd heal from inside himself. Its a bit weird and unhealthy when a person attaches their whole identity onto someone else, Gojo did his best to copy Geto in everything.
I honestly don't know how to feel about Yuta taking over Gojo's body. i definitely liked the execution, but i feel like i gotta see how it plays out. I am interested in the price. Yuta will have to pay for this gamble. I don't want it to be as simple as you're dead or stuck as Gojo. We haven't really seen anyone else, but Sukuna uses binding vowsusesso it feels like the perfect time for Yuta to use one to possibly extend his CT time limit. I also read a prediction that after this fight that Sukuna will be so weakened that he'll eat Uraume, which would be so awesome to see. Also, while I saw Shoko this chapter, I had an insane thought, and after seeing the amount of planning, im hoping it comes true. What if Hakari and Shoko switched bodies if you could teach Hakari to utilize his unlimited cursed and rct to heal others, he'd be a more useful version of Shoko since the whole reason she'd never leave on dangerous missions is cause she could die. It'd be a missed opportunity not to teach the one guy who doesn't have to worry about any of the drawbacks of Rct and how to use it on others.
