@@dtanaka869-d hammer ons and legato don't get a lot of play in bluegrass lead because they don't project very well on an accoustic guitar. Plenty of pull offs though, and certainly hammer ons are used in a rhythm context. Lots of sliding into notes as well. Single note pickin is the name of the game but we still use plenty of those other techniques.

Excellent pickin'...had the pleasure to see Tony Rice, Molly Tuttle, Billy Strings, and Doc Watson play it live so, yeah I have heard it. By the best...
This is the first fiddle tune I learned on my uncles old Martin 30 years ago. Still run through it once and a while nowadays. Just like my uncle told me 30 years ago, makes me happy to see the younger folks keeping the ol wheel rollin. Thanks y’all. Never stop.
Wow! You girls are fabulous! Great job, everyone of you! My dad had a banjo, so I couldn’t help being partial to it, for sure, and the young lady really did a super job on it! Each of you did fantastic!
I JUST LOVE ME SOME FOLK MUSIC...a bunch of musicians, usually sitting in a circle, or around a fire, picking and grinning, and passing the Lead to the person on their right and listen to the piece increase as it progresses around the circle. We used to have a ball, doing that in our younger days. Carpal Tunnel and I can't even form a cord any more, but it's nice to see these young people taking up the torch & running with it.
Great job! At blazing fast tempo too! Is it just me seeing things or does that banjo have like 2 tuners on it? Lol,,, i guess one isnt enough,, need a second reference🎉to be sure its really in tune!
Some of the most articulate and precise instrumental musicianship comes out of bluegrass! Nice work!
Yep.
Larkin Poe and Molly Tuttle 💜💜

After dabbling a bit in bluegrass, I've realized it's because every single note is picked, nothing is left to hammer-ons or legato

Just really good - a real nice feel - particularly when the banjo is taking the lead with the rhythm guitars in support.
And a real nice bit with banjo and guitar together at the end.
‘Rhythmically advanced and great communication between the musicians. Most importantly, it has lots of spirit and fun.
