I am waiting to see reviews on how well the ac holds up in 100+ days in the dust and tall grass in the South.
And mud and muskeg in Northern Alberta.
The fact they moved the heater. That’s huge! Can am use to have a bus bar behind the heater so adding lights or other accessories was a pain. The arm rest doesn’t move when you ride, never spilled anything from using that one. My go to cup holder is by the door. It’s a nice model, but the standard cab without ac is more my taste. Nice review

Can Am are now the best built side by sides
As an avid outdoorsman and hunter. One point I wish you hit on is noise. Overall sound standing from the outside or as the machine is approaching and passing. Exterior noise is a big factor that no one talks about in the reviews. I know it has been a campfire topic many times.
They put the cheeper non adjustable shock package on a limited??? What’s up with that? Seams like canam kinda missed the mark calling it a limited with cheeper shock package no rear view mirror no sound system or gps,if I can buy a amazon touch screen head unit with gps for less than $100 bucks canam should put sumthin like than in a limited model! Love the vehicle has bunch of cool stuff just think if your calling a model limited it should come with all that kinda stuff. I know they were probably shooting for specific price point and that stuff is EZ to add but o well still cool machine! I’m in Arizona and I know I’d love a AC sealed cab when it’s 115 out!! Thanks for the review, but you left out some crucial details. Talk about the *massive* bed and the number of tiedown points. And what about the price??? Think we might want to know about that? How about opening up the hood and exposing the cab filtration system and storage.

Wish Can-Am would add an LED headlights, LED Interior lights, and Reverse lights option, but more importantly, a strong enough tailgate for two adults to sit on.

Ive had side by sides. Ever since i got involved with jeeps i will nvr go back. A few main reasons why you would buy a jeep over a sxs are...
1. Street legal
2. For 35,000 cad you can buy a 2018 jk or jk sport 2 door manual OR about 4 highly capable TJs or a YJs .
3. More flex and ground clearance
4. AC , Stereo and quietness
5. More aftermarket parts

Fun fact, these are street legal in europe (the ATV's too) Comes from the dealer fully equipped with mirrors, blinkers etc. Weird that they can do that in US.
Do UTV's need to pass crash testing and EPA mileage testing? Is there brake performance testing? The price is about the same as a base price Dodge mini van . I wonder what the profit margin is on these?

I'm a Commander fan. Sure with Can Am would pay some attention to the Commander and give it a well overdue refresh.
Excellent walk-around of a beautiful machine. I am curious though, being a "Limited" model, does it include the Smart-Lok or is it Visco-lok diff?
Vince smart lok is not included it’s visco. It’s about 2500$ Canadian to add smart lok. Not worth it in my opinion
Would be nice if the windshield flipped up and would slide back into the cab for protection
Is there a switch to control which vents the air comes out of? I didn't notice one. Love the Channel by the way! Huge fan of y'alls content!
Nice machine ! I’m a can am fan and own a 19 defender but I think Polaris has them beat with the North Star

tanner6112 I haven’t driven or spent any time with the ranger but their fit and finish on the cab seemed a little nicer than the can am. I’m sure the defender would hold up better mechanically however.
That’s one out of this world Greg wish I could have one of those going to put that on my wish list
The Polaris Northstar has all of the function of the Can-am plus comes with more options. Integrated gps, stereo, cameras etc. I note that there is no front diff lock. Real issue.

Total Noob here. Never thought I'd need a UTV, but it seems that the hills have gotten taller as mt legs have gotten shorter. Age, whoda thunk it?
Anyway I am on a heavily timbered ranch in the Gila country of New Mexico. I don't need speed, I need grunt. I am just now looking at Can Am. Until now I have been thinking Honda or Kubota. My primary considerations are durability, price and ease of operation.

You'll get a ton of grunt out of the Kubota Diesel. Not a lot of top speed, but she'll pull.

Needs a mirror and side mirrors but other than that wow just wow amazing
I believe they also come with a parking brake in which would be good on all of Can-Am side by sides.

I’m sorry, but for vehicles with price points in this range should all along come more equipped like a car/truck. If your asking for car prices they should have all the goodies.
Yup and to add some vehicles are even bad for this. The average buyer doesn't give any care to it anyways.
Who has the best HVAC can system now? JD, Polaris, or CanAm??
Seth Murphy I have a 2019 JD 835M with hvac and love it. Although, the auto climate in this one is pretty sweet!
Gotta agree although the doors look nice they like like an add on. Can’t agree about the seats though, they look all utility and no sport to me other than the fancy fabric and color.

Overall I think the machine is great, as you said features that are available in a vehicle. I guess the only question left is whats the price?
For the Rediculous Prices they charge for these thing's.., they SHOULD come wth EVERY creature comforts and option's! Way OveR Priced for a Glorified 4wheeler...! WoW
Needs a front diff locker. With the price they're charging for these things, a DCT or torque converter transmission should be used instead of a belt.

That's funny the interior is 60% quieter. When he gets in without the motor running he has to shut the A. C. off so we can hear him talking. lol
Royce McCarthy road noise is 60% quieter. If you yell inside the cab it wouldn’t be quiet either. Think about it
I have a 2016 Defender 800cc, dealer installed heater, paid over $1000 for heater, and it takes forever to blow warm/hot air. Not happy with performance of heater. Works great in the summer, not so much in the winter. Can you help?

I’ve been looking at this model and all the specs show only a 27” tire and the 2 dealers I checked with verified the 27” tire. Were you told the 28” was standard?

@@texaswalker6209 I couldn't say one way or the other.
His didn't come with a radio or speakers. There are circle plastic pieces up near the roof where speakers go but his doesn't have them. I'm not sure if the radio is a special option or not but his is the HD-10 Limited.
Also, the A/C doesn't work very well. Brand new unit, 75 degrees here in Texas and it didn't cool the cab much, if at all. I can't imagine what it's going to feel like in the upper 90's.

Why in the world did they put brown seat trim on a unit that has no brown on it at all. Maybe silver or gray but the brown ??? That would keep me from buying it. Not a good look at all.

Nice, but at this price point and luxury level, just buy a car or Jeep. Let ATV’s be ATV’s. Stop trying to turn them into Luxury cars. Stuffs already way too expensive. I remember when 30k got you a new BMW. Nice UTV though :)
