It wasn't only a beatdown. Saint THREATENED Immaru to revive Savathun repeatedly to quell his inmense rage by brutalizing her until he felt relieved. Immaru dared to retaliate the first time by calling the armistice the Vanguard did, but Saint gave absolutely no damns about it.
So...a few can say they 1vs1'd a Hive God...and among them:
1 can say she became THE God of Hive.
1 can say they slayed Hive Gods for fun and turned them into weapons.
1 can say he had a personal punching bag in the shape of a Hive God.
No wonder Drifter says Hive is scared of us.

He went toe-to-toe with Osiris, one of the most powerful guardians if not the most powerful ever. Oh he also cut a hole in the timestream, royally fucking the vex and pulling them ALL out of their simulations, He killed enough of them to end a war and is now feared by them. crazy considering their a robot hivemind who don't feel shit. He ended up being that revered and respected by them that they named 2 Vex minds after him. Savathun didn't let him win, she didn't stand a chance.

Saint 14 is truly one of my favorite characters, first started for me in season of the splicer. That's when I first engaged with his character. And ever since he's grown on me more and more. He is a protector. A defender. And the best defense is a good offense. Saint 14 is the embodiment of that. And yet, the minute saint heard mithrax story about him, he had a quick change of heart, he just seems like a realistic and also genuinely good person..
