@@yahyabora3451 for me it works throughout the day. I charge it in the morning and after coming from office it still has 50% cause maybe I don't use social media. Its snapdragon version. It does heat up during video calls but not during gaming. Overall I'm completely satisfied with it.
great test, that was a really nice simulation of regular phone use. This vid helps me to decide how nice the s22 really is. I am always hear that der S22 battery is to small, but 6h off SOT is absolutely enough for me.
I had an s10+. during its time, people praised for its battery life which is just around 4-5 sot. It lasted nearly 2 days with me. Now I upgraded to s22(I don’t like big phones anymore) and I still feel the battery life is so good for me. Have no idea why people complain so much about that. Maybe people use phones much more after just 3 years?

I have the same version as you. On mobile data 4G i get maximum 4 hours screen on time, with 4G and wifi mixed maybe 4,5-5hours and with only wifi and low brightness i can get near 7 hours. What do you think

I've tested a S22 on a store and there's some stutters that aren't bearable for a phone that costs 1000€ ... What do you think about this. Can you test day to day UI and apps performance ? Thanks 🙏

The main battery drain is brightness, camera, gaming and if you are mobile (as you will be hopping from mast to mast). I think 6 hours is fair for what to expect when static and low brightness with no gaming. That is sub-par for the specs as I have seen an iPhone 13 get 50% more. However, for many of us this would be good enough for daily use, though nicer if we could get more. It is clear Samsung mucked up by downgrading the battery. FWIW I believe ATM the Exynos gets better battery life than the SD8G1 from what I have seen, so other tests may reflect that.
@@andyH_England Well he used 1h of 4k recording, remove that and that's almost 2h of gaming, overall 7h30 of continuous usage is good, the normal iPhone 13 doesn't do much better and the Pro might do better but not THAT much...
@Martin it's better! Using telegram for 1 hour drained from 100 to 90% RUclips from 100 to 87% 1 hour. It very much depends how you use and and it works smart. Yes, 4700 is not much. But i get now 6 hours+ on display using youtube/messengers/reddit. If i ONLY play it will last for 4.5 hours. Take care)

I don't think so? I mainly use social media? (One being tik tok for being videos) though I've just seen about Blue tooth being off so maybe that's it? I need mine on for my Galaxy Fit 2, Galaxy Buds pro, Galaxy Smart tag and my bedroom light so I wonder if all these things using blue tooth would drain it that much?
@@GeorgieAnnAndGemma BT should not drain that much energy. Some would say to let your phone learn your usage and it will get better with time. I’ve also read the phone’s processor is eating so much energy thus leading to bellow average battery life. Maybe future updates will fix this. I am also consider getting one for my self. Currently using the 13 mini and am pretty happy with it. Almost 5hours SOT with LTE + WI-FI but IOS is pretty boring and the screen is not so nice while consuming media. Have to stay close to the screen to understand what is going on. Waiting for prices to drop and will probably get one someday.
I see, I strongly agree Samsung needs to optimise their phones to better efficiency, but I will still get the S22 over the 13mini anyway due to the camera and especially, the display being a high refresh But really, the battery of the S22 is a disappointment to me at least, while it last for as long as I need it to, it shows that samsung did not optimise the load on the software side

Partly agree, bout found a nice and slim battery pack for my iPhone 11 Pro which gets be about 3hrs of screen on time, and with the battery pack it adds an additional 2 with its 2300mah capacity

Hi, just to clear things up, by no means i cinsider this good battery life, I have the Galaxy S21 Ultra that can last 8.5hrs of screen on time and when ive tested the Poco X3 Pro, it lasted 9.5hrs, even my iphone 12 lasted 6h30min so this is one of the lowest scrores of screen on time ive seen But, i dont think battery life is horrible like what other reviews said, personally ive used the phone and ended off days on an average of just over 20pct, which is reliable enough, but compared to the predecessor, Samsung didnt improve yhe battery, instead im sure it got very slightly worse and due to phones pushing forward every year, its hard to accept that Samsung didnt care about improving battery
FINALLY a test with mobile freaking data. Everyone is testing wifi only, which is just not right, because a mobile device is as it's name, MOBILE, so you will mostly use mobile data, not wifi.

In Germany , we got the Exynos 2200 as well and my S22 lasts a full day and I finish days on 30% and 5hr SOT

my Galaxy S22 lasts me a whole day with 30 to 40% leftover, my screen on time on average is 4 to 5 hours, the S22 accommodated to my needs spendidly

Im in the process of testing performance, I have not really encountered any lags or stutters and, at least from my use, performance has been great

My s22 usually 100% battery to 20% unfortunately barely i arrive like less than 4 hours ... no more do you know why?

Wifi tend to consume less battery than data. Bluetooth is less and less power consuming and the phone use it in a more clever way.
Also did you use Smart Switch option or you did fresh start?
Of course I used smart switch, Samsungs smart switch is easy to use, way better than manually transferring data

This test produced about 6 hours SOT
I have s22 on Exynos 2200.
I used it for 46 minutes youtube, telegram, little bit of browser and it drained from 100 to 86%...
How is the battery life now?

yep, with my normal use i end off days with 20 to 30 pct, but i wld consider that to be good battery life as my s21 ultra can end off with 30 to 40pct
