    • @andyH_England
      @andyH_England 2 года назад +4

      The main battery drain is brightness, camera, gaming and if you are mobile (as you will be hopping from mast to mast). I think 6 hours is fair for what to expect when static and low brightness with no gaming. That is sub-par for the specs as I have seen an iPhone 13 get 50% more. However, for many of us this would be good enough for daily use, though nicer if we could get more. It is clear Samsung mucked up by downgrading the battery. FWIW I believe ATM the Exynos gets better battery life than the SD8G1 from what I have seen, so other tests may reflect that.

    • @AboutVlad
      @AboutVlad 2 года назад +1

      @@GeorgieAnnAndGemma BT should not drain that much energy. Some would say to let your phone learn your usage and it will get better with time. I’ve also read the phone’s processor is eating so much energy thus leading to bellow average battery life. Maybe future updates will fix this. I am also consider getting one for my self. Currently using the 13 mini and am pretty happy with it. Almost 5hours SOT with LTE + WI-FI but IOS is pretty boring and the screen is not so nice while consuming media. Have to stay close to the screen to understand what is going on. Waiting for prices to drop and will probably get one someday.

    • @FromMattAndDarr
      @FromMattAndDarr  2 года назад

      I see, I strongly agree Samsung needs to optimise their phones to better efficiency, but I will still get the S22 over the 13mini anyway due to the camera and especially, the display being a high refresh
      But really, the battery of the S22 is a disappointment to me at least, while it last for as long as I need it to, it shows that samsung did not optimise the load on the software side
