YAY, new Puzzle Yarn! I made a granny square blanket with that Puzzle Backgammon yarn and LOVED working with it. I think Premier has hit a great idea of bringing out solids and matching it to their Puzzle varigated colors!

Update on my son. Surgery went well, praise the lord 🙏🏻
He came out of surgery around 11am and is just starting to wake up, very groggy. He will have a very sore throat days 2-4. Thank you for your prayers 🙏🏻💝

I love Puzzle! Bought oodles of it last spring. Walmart often has it for about $5 to $6 online (just make sure you look only for yarn sold directly by Walmart, because some of their marketplace sellers jack the prices up to ridiculous levels). It works up so fast, makes shiny, soft, squishy blankets and shawls, and the smooth color variations are outstanding. It will be great to add perfectly coordinating solids. Premier wasn't around when I started crocheting seriously 21 years ago, and I wasn't buying much yarn for several years, so I'd never heard of the company till last spring. I think they have made a huge difference by introducing really good quality into the "value yarn" categories, and innovating with color and variety as well. Kudos to them! 🏆

Last year I made a blanket out of Backgammon and then made a thick border in a Camel stitch to match the red and blue but I had to use I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby even though it’s a 4 weight and it turned out gorgeous! And this year I have started another exactly like it so I’m so glad I don’t have to go all over to get it! I have two more blankets to make for X’mas gifts so I’m elated at all the possibilities!

Ohhhh so very cool! I would love to get some of the blue I think or gray. I have a few skeins of puzzle yarn in different colors. I was thinking maybe I could use the left over from projects with the solid or solids and make a blanket that way..................? I have made two pocket wraps and they turned out beautiful. I even fringed them (which drives me crazy lol) and it really was awesome. I have enough backgammon to make a blanket of good size, but if I got the burgundy or blue or both I could make it even bigger. I am still thinking on it LOL Thank you for sharing! It’s soft, etc. but it has been impossible to center pull this. I hate balling yarn. The puzzle is finding the beginning!! and it’s been the worst birds nesting and tangling yarn barf ever. I wanted to love it because I like @oremieryarns the best for acrylics…But I literally was ready to chuck it in the fire pit because of all the tangled mess. 5 skeins worth. 😫
Hi Jen, I have a question about the puzzle yarn. I know you said it’s squishy and I love that idea. Is it soft and squishy or just squishy?
I have never had any puzzle yarn so I’ve never felt it… please can you let me know because I’ve been trying to find yarn to make my adult son a blanket and he loves soft blankets.
