I live in the US, so I guess I don't quality, but I would use the backpack in Phil. My mom just had kidney surgery 3 week ago and we both agreed that once she gets better ( prolly end of the year) we will both go to Phil and visit family in Mindanao. I know you love Phil, but I dont think you've been to Mindanao because of the problems. Imagine the same beauty you love about Phil but with less tourist, that's Mindanao! The problems in Mindanao is isolated in a small area, but 95% of Mindanao is safe if you travel with a local. I will extent the invite to you with or without the backpack, lol to come hangout and see Mindanao that most tourist have never seen. Rest assure you are in safe hands, we have our own private transportation and we have lots of family allover Mindanao to guide us and show us the best places to see!
At the moment we have a Lowe Alpine daypack which we use for our camera gear. The NorthFace day back will be perfect to share the weight the moment we travel through Europe and explore the mountainsides in Austria and the Lake District in UK.

I know i dont qualify with your giveaway but given the chance, i would say since i travelled most of southeast asia and some part of my country. I will use that bag to explore my country from luzon,visayas and mindanao ( the 3 main island of the philippines) without riding the plane just the old style of travelling which is by land or water. Who's with me?🙋🏽
I only take two sets of clothing on holiday, plus the set I am wearing. This means I only need a small bag (British army issue 30 litre daysack) which is free to take on flights. At night I put the shirt, underwear, socks in the basin and soak them overnight then rinse them out the next day, dry them on a towel and they are ready to wear the next day. If you get those special quick drying clothes, you can just take one set of clothes, wash them at night and they will be dry by morning. If you want to soak the clothes but don't have a basin (eg, you are in a room with a shared bathroom) you can get a small folding bucket from camping shops to soak your clothes in overnight.

im a light packer and traveler. i carry my bag everytime. im ok carrying my bag bringing along some essentials things and important stuff i may in need of. when ever i do my morning breeze walking, working,hanging out etc.. i love having my bag with me all the time. here in the philipines weather is unpredictable so its important to bring a bag to be filled with important stuff. ill be going to my home town in bolinao pangasinan,phil on the 17 of june for my granny's death anniversary and if weather permits i will be going to Caramoan. by the way thanks for promoting philippiines to the world please come back again. Travel Gretl yes we do remember the death anniversary of our love ones here. In fact, november 1&2 is a national holiday here in the philippines were in we go to the cemetery to clean and paint the tomb of our dear ones then we light a candle; most of us stays in the cemetery the whole day and have a picnic or small get together with the family.
We don't have something like that here, but I really like that. It makes people not been forgotten and for the ones still being here it's a good moment to go to their joy and tears for the live and deaths of their loved ones.

I would love to take this pack on my world trip (starting as soon as we have tickets). we've been on our yourney for 2 months already and i noticed we had so much stuff that really it wasn't fun anymore. for multiple day hikes we had to find a spot to stock some of out stuff because otherwise the trip would be impossible. unfortunately we had to come back home to say goodbye to a dear friend, but now we want to start again with all the things we learned. one main goal is to take as little as possible and a nice small backpack would be perfect for that!

I alway travel with only carry one when I am going somewhere in Europe. The bag that I am currently using, and have been using for three years, is almost worn out unfortunately. This bag would be a perfect replacement! I do not have any new travel plans yet, I just came back from two weeks in Iceland. A new travel bag would be the perfect excuse to schedule a new trip ;)

If you only bring one bra be prepared for it to stretch out by the end of your trip. Ideally, you should rotate three bras. It gives the elastic time to rebound between wearings and it will last longer.

Ik koop ze meestal in de uitverkoop na het zomerseizoen. Dan zijn ze goedkoop, en op reis komen ze altijd van pas. Als ik je een tip mag geven: Pas op met broeken met strak elastiek aan de bovenkant. Sommige van mijn broeken hebben dat en als je lang in de bus zit, wordt dat wel vervelend ;)

You forgot to pack your scarf. Great in cool weather of course but also helps during long haul air travel when the cabin is freezing. 😀

Im from southern part of philippines mindanao davao city, probably you here a lot of negative news in mindanao but theres a positive side and tourist attraction here Im imagining traveling with that backpack with my personal belongings in it. Love to travel to all over places in mindanao like Bukidnon,Iligan,Ozamiz City,Cagayan de oro,Mati City and Cagayan De Oro City. as I said Next Month my first ever climb in Mt. If you only bring one bra be prepared for it to stretch out by the end of your trip. Ideally, you should rotate three bras. It gives the elastic time to rebound between wearings and it will last longer.

Goeie vraag! Ik heb de mijne destijds bij de H&M gekocht, maar daar moet het dan inderdaad wel het seizoen voor zijn :) Op de IJhallen in Amsterdam heb ik ook nog weleens succes!
Ik koop ze meestal in de uitverkoop na het zomerseizoen. Dan zijn ze goedkoop, en op reis komen ze altijd van pas. Als ik je een tip mag geven: Pas op met broeken met strak elastiek aan de bovenkant. Sommige van mijn broeken hebben dat en als je lang in de bus zit, wordt dat wel vervelend ;)
Oh - en afhankelijk van waar je naartoe gaat hebben ze terplekke ook vanalles. In thailand zijn genoeg marktjes bijv met dit soort broeken 😀

everyday( using transportation bus and jeepney )the distance from my home las pinas manila to workplace around 45.0 km .I always carry more than two bags ( shoulder bag+laptopbag+ food bag ) more than a month at shoping mall I always see big bag pack or school bag .it seems not right on my weight (45kg) .your giveway back pack .its fits all as hand luggage .its fits on my everyday use =) less heavy than three bag . and it is rarely seen here . =>
