I had the MS suite. When I had to buy a new PC they no longer accepted my serial number so I switched to OpenOffice. I mostly use the word processor and it is very good. In caparison, for the price MS Office is a rip-off. They should include it with Windows anyway.
Thanks for the feedback! I've gone back and forth between OpenOffice and Libre Office in the past. Both are really great, I think Libre's interface looks a little better.
@@TrustRadius Just a friendly heads up, the OpenOffice project has been more or less dead since 2016 since many of it's core contributors split from the project due to management disagreements and now all migrated to LibreOffice which is more or less the direct successor to now "apache open office". One of the more nifty achievements of LibreOffice is the complete depreciation of Java for core functionality and whole host of new features. Simply put if you're impressed with a project that's been in stasis for a decade or so, you'll be SUPER impressed by something that's been actively developed since then. Cheers!
