    Wow I’ve been looking for a cut and fold bumper that I actually liked. This one checks off all the boxes !

      @@2AOverland I didn't see a nut strip or weld nuts inside the frame rail. It looks like the bumper has nuts welded to itself, and is intended to take the place of a nut strip. Is that right? My shackle relocation brackets attach to these same rail holes, so I imagine I'll probably need longer bolts.

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  9 месяцев назад +1

      It came with nut strips as part of the bumper not separate

    14:11 I like how much of a lip that bumper has to potentially stand on there. I have stuff stored on my rack and it would be nice to have a spot to access it that is not a door jam..

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  2 года назад

      You’re right it definitely has enough space to get your feet on there to access the roof rack. I can’t wait to try it out when we have the rtt on it. I can use the bumper and sliders to put it away now

    I maybe would have filled up the bearing part with more grease. Just for the sake of longevity. Especially if you put alot of weight on the tire carrier. But you can always do that later.

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  Год назад +1

      Good call! Even if it doesn’t add extra lubrication at least the extra grease would protect the joint

      Yep! I was part of the Christmas drop off lol I met him a few miles outside seligman! You’re gonna love them! I already scratched my rear bumper up a little wheeling and it took it like a champ. I hope your frame issues and install go smooth 😎👍

      @@2AOverland Nice, must have just missed you by a few minutes, I was last to pick up, running late per usual. Your video is really helpful, going to refer to it when I install. What paint did you use? Planning on some self-etch primer and chassis paint instead of powder coat so I can easily spray any scratches.

    Dude you were welding next to the gas tank without putting sheet metal guard or anything.wanna guess what would happen if one hot bb made it through the thin gas tank?

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  Год назад +1

      I was trying to be careful and weld it as fast as I can but the gas tank isn’t that thin where a weld bead would melt through it.

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  6 месяцев назад

  • @moejr14
    @moejr14 2 года назад +1

    I have the same welder. What settings did you use to weld on your stiffener’s?

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  2 года назад +1

      The rear unibody stiffeners are 10 gauge and the plates on the bumper reinforcements were 10 gauge so I used
      180 for wire speed
      19 for voltage
      6 or 7 for inductance
      And the welds came out beautifully

  • @NuNuDevenski
    @NuNuDevenski Год назад +2

    Great video but as far as the company goes it’s not that hard to set up little highlight reels on your Instagram page or post what you sell on Facebook market place. I get not paying for a site but it’s 2023 and that’s ridiculous.

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  Год назад

      I see where you’re coming from there if he did that he would probably blow up the company and grow huge. I think with high quality bumpers like these he needs to slowly grow so lead times don’t get out of hand if he does. But at the same time with the amount of orders he ships out I think he has been fine with word of mouth for time being.

    • @autotek7930

      @2A_Overland wonder what the max rating is? I'm looking for something like that without the tire carrier but need to tow a trailer at times, in building my xj to do recoveries, hopefully lol. There ain't nobody here that does em and I'm obsessed with offroading now. It's my first 4x4 and I absolutely love it even tho I haven't driven it in over 2 months...... the piston skirt broke but I ordered the s&j stroker 4.7l. It'll be another 3 months to get it then install that with new 12 hole injectors, my dirtbound official stump front winch bumper and badlands apex synthetic winch, Ironman offroad rear shackle relocation kit and it's already got a ton of other stuff I've done lol
