I’ll pull the camera out on the trail here soon. In the meantime check out @littletruckbigworld RUclips and Instagram. Went wheeling with him yesterday and I think he may post a video.
Hahaha, I kept thinking about it. But I think I’m going to leave it for now. This thing is so small that the trunk space is so valuable for camping trips.
I’d also like a little more details and stuff kinda like a voice over of some of the B-roll of the fab work or whatever it might be I think would be a good mix of like more detail but not cutting from the work and explaining every detail if that makes since
Hey the Amazon bumper as an awesome first welding project. Just prep all your surfaces, don’t weld too much at once, and weld a good portion of it while bolted to the vehicle to avoid warping. Adding frame tie ins is HIGHLY recommended, weld them directly to the bumper if you can.
@@machinesinc for sure I’ve done as much research and stuff as I can and do a lot of practice welding on scrap metal and soon will be doing both the DIY front and rear bumpers and I do have tie in brackets as well already and I got some center section frame stiffeners to weld on as well but scared to do that lol

I used Rustolium brush on hammered paint. It takes forever to brush on, and forever to dry. But once it’s dry it’s an incredibly hard and durable coating.
Good project Jake! Agree on the latch. I like the format. Hoping for a few wheeling videos soon.

Good stuff. Next video - move the tank up! Looking to see how you do it, hoping to tuck mine up next winter.

Me next pal!
In the works!
Looks good man. I really have liked the filthy addictions bumper but can’t afford it so Amazon DIY bumper and to teach my self to weld it is 😂

What pipe bender is that? And where do you get your tube steel?
The video was good just the way that it is....but I would like to see some actual wheeling content in the future....

What hinge kit did you use
EMS Off-road, was the best priced option I could find
What type of coating did you use to coat your bumper?

Music was way to loud and way way to much. You asked 😊
Thanks for the feedback!
