I'm thinking that my laptop's (netbook actually) LP crossover is set @200Hz. I then connected my Kicker earbud style earphones (It's the something something '400' model) and I'm quite amazed at how low they play, below 60 Hz. Yes, connected via Bluetooth. Pretty cool stuff... other videos from ccs don't include so many different frequencies (that I've ever seen) or they do a full sweep, which isn't that useful at all.
I've been a SQL car audio guy for decades (car audio altogether for 30 years) and get ridiculed for it but am a fan of a 5-way system, for real & efficient SQL. It's so difficult to demonstrate that in a real-world system because of the listening environment and such (in an analog system, as you pointed out in a comment reply). The best thing about this video (using music and not test tones, sweeps, or pink noise/grey noise) is that it makes the explaining of the importance of crossover 'overlap' for components to others much easier.
Of course, changing the crossover slope from 12db to a different slope changes everything too but that's probably a different video, lol... decent speakers with a "feel & sound" you like combined with an affordable DSP (MUST have a DSP and clean power). A GOOD sounding daily driver system can be had for $500-$600 thanks to eBay :D This video will be useful to actively demonstrate all of that, thanks!

I thank you very much and truly from the heart for this beautiful comment! 👍
Many years ago (in the 2000s), I also worked for several years as a car audio installer. Back then, the JL Audio W7 had just come onto the market, and over those years, I gained a lot of experience in the car audio field. We also did a lot of experiments and built SPL vehicles, but a 5-way system is really very difficult and complex. Respect for that! At what frequencies do you cross over?
Regarding the other topic, which is about this video. For many viewers, it’s just a video, but it is really elaborately produced in the studio on Genelec 8050 with an additional subwoofer to not only represent sweep test tones. The problem, however, is that music without the use of a compressor and limiter does not sound good for the masses and makes everything more difficult.
Conclusion: I thank you for the beautiful comment and completely agree with you! Thanks 😉

Is this digitaly processed sound ?

Yes, the music and the low pass filter were made in a digital Environment.
Such precision would not have been possible in an analogue way.
