A HD version has been released, fixing a distortion problem in this version: ruclips.net/video/t8TTfs7hyBw/видео.html EDIT: Thanks a lot for one million views, that is awesome! :D
What you do with the frequency range is not a test. It is nonsense! You cannot test by ear with a sinusoid (this is done with stripes of pink noise), and you cannot do this at the same volume (read about "curves of equal loudness"). You are simply misleading your viewers. Correct or disappear!
I used this sound test to test the capabilities of the BTF-Lighting Colorful X2, which is a cool little "neopixel" LED strip controller which can accept an audio input. Turns out it does in fact respond to different frequencies, but also to the overall volume of those frequencies and possibly even to what frequency follows. Pretty cool. [EDIT] I also found out later that it only samples the left audio channel, it doesn't care about stereo. Which is not a point against it, it doesn't need to care about stereo. So you might wanna also pick up a simple stereo to mono mixer for it if you're thinking about buying one.
i randomly clicked on a video and turns out my headphones all the time were in mono - no wonder i couldnt use directional sound in games and just music kinda sucked. HUGE THANKS!!!!!
Listening on Blue Mix-Fi headphones and gotta say. On the low bass part where it says there should be no distortion I cant hear distortion and its actually so clear that I can physically hear the bass diminish into the next beat and still hear the mid/high sounds perfectly well as well. Extremely pleased.
Thank you! This helped me test my Elac DBR62 Reference speakers. Your frequency sweep played down to 34.16 htz, best I could measure. I started feeling the bass at 28 htz. Sounds about right. Amp pushes about 60 wpc. No sub on my system. Shakes the couch with out one, so Elac got clear, deep bass right. Being older I only hear to maybe 15khz, but still know what a real cymbal sounds like. Elacs sound real to me. Great video, thanks again.
wow. I just ran this test on a new pair of Sennheiser ture wireless Momentum 3s...wow. I use your test, the downloaded version for everything, but the latency doesn't need it for bluetooth just yet, but these earbuds are lit, and your test is, as always, totally perfect. Thanks
4:33 - This frequency sweep is actually to test speaker quality. It should really start from 20Hz and move up, but more slowly. You should be hearing for changes in volume. The less it changes volume the better. There is NO perfect speaker. I don’t know why it says “Should be no distortion” - that doesn’t make any sense.
Listening on barracuda pros, spatial audio working well. Bass working well too, tiny bit, and I mean tiny bit of tinny distortion on the low test, mid range perfect high range too. Quality it handles all of them really well while still making a difference. Managed all of the frequencies.

Perhaps, you are right that some sounds like 25hz and 50hz help cats bones be denser and heal quicker, perhaps it works on humans too. Or it should. If you mean FLAC vs MP3 the difference is easy to spot every time, unless the source music is not using acoustic instruments. Synthetic over compressed modern Pop, R&B, Rap etc is almost impossible to tell the difference .
@@EgoShredder But have you try encoding things yourself? otherwise you are most probably getting a low quality track rip from some webpage or video on RUclips (they trick you to think is a 320kb mp3 file).

Muchísimas gracias. Le había entrado una gota de agua. No pensé que funcionaría, pero ya se oye normalmente. Es genial, pensé que se había arruinado. Gracias y éxitos!
Lows sound a bit washed out on my AT MH50X is that normal? But mid and high sound very clear.
Thank you. This helped me pinpoint the suddenly occurring rattling in my headphones.
Good!
Amazing 👏👏👏
I keep getting a popping noise between clips but not during any tests. I've been trying to fix it for ages now but I'm wondering if it's my onboard audio driver..
I got this tutorial explaining how to fix crackling audio, it should help you fix that issue
Search in my channels videos
Wow. Thus is impressive. Thanks
There is distortion or crackling during sweep at around 700Hz, what does it mean
Do try the HD version or DL the file to be sure it's not youtube, if it persists it means that you have bad resonance because of many reasons like, loose parts or cracked cones.
in the frequency range test i sometimes hear a soft crackling is that normal?
Try the HD version of this and see if it disappears, link in bio
Oh please what is the name of song at 3:00
