What does it mean if I hear the first click but after that no sound? If I play another video like a song or a music video I hear sound all the way through

@AudioBenchmark thanks for responding about it. I think it's something like the delay is half a second and the beep is half a second so you don't ever hear it. My solution for now is just to not use Bluetooth and just plug a wire to my stereo from my projector

Was wondering how to setup my Sony SS-CS9 sub that's part of my new home theater and I used my Apple Watch Sound Level app and voila Reverse (180°) gave me 59db compared to Normal which was 51db. Now I need to find a way to find the correct crossover as my front speakers are Sony SS-CS3. Sub has a rotating knob with a min of 50hz and max of 200hz, meaning mid point should be 125hz. Mine was slightly higher than mid point so around 150hz and I still got to see the difference with this test
Thank you for this detailed comment! Much appreciated! 😉 The test (unfortunately) also works when the crossover frequency of the subwoofer is set too high. This is because the test measures at the test frequency (70, 80, 90 Hz) and doesn’t know how the subwoofer is set. This is, of course, not ideal, because the measurement adjusts the correct phase at 70, 80, or 90 Hz, but above that, the frequencies add up, leading to further phase errors. Some sound pressure level measuring apps can also display the frequency response. Maybe you can try one of those to set the correct crossover frequency for your subwoofer. Of course, only the subwoofer should be playing during this test. And don’t forget, the crossover frequency of the subwoofer should be determined at a -6 dB amplitude drop. The correct crossover frequency for your satellite speakers is where their low-frequency response also drops by -6 dB, not where they just begin to roll off. (@12dB/Oct)
@@AudioSignalSuite So, I’ll attempt to precisely position the cutoff frequency knob at 80 Hz (THX number) and experiment with that setting. When the knob is at the 4 o’clock position, which corresponds to the minimum frequency of 50 Hz, and at the 2 o’clock position, which corresponds to the maximum frequency of 200 Hz. Sony’s instructions indicate that the smaller the front speakers, the higher the cutoff frequency. My front speakers are standing Sony SS-CS3 with 2 x 5 inch woofers with a 45-50k Hz Frequency Response.

That’s quite high, the frequency where you start to hear something. The MX-T70 has a built-in 10” subwoofer, so the lowest frequency should actually be a bit lower. Maybe the bass range in the equalizer is adjusted? Thank you for your comment 😉, but I expected a lower frequency from such a large box (because of the 10” subwoofer).

Hello, The polarity test does not work on headphones. With speakers, one speaker cancels out the sound of the other if they are wired incorrectly. This doesn’t happen with headphones because you only ever hear one channel at a time-your left ear hears only the left signal, and your right ear hears only the right signal. Therefore, frequency cancellation cannot occur.

I checked out your GarageBand work on your channel and was amazed at what’s possible with GarageBand! 👍 In the test video here, do you have an approximate delay of around 50ms? That’s quite a lot for music production and can definitely be disruptive when producing music. Maybe you have the option to use wired headphones instead? Unfortunately, Bluetooth audio has no place in music production. 😬

4 bit resolution without reducing dynamic range or that's what it is?
Hi. The source material of the song really consists of 24 individual pieces in the respective quality. These individual pieces were then saved with a time delay in a 16bit / 48kHz WAV file. The 4Bit section really only has 16 values (dynamic range) in the amplitude that are recorded. However, this is strangely not very noticeable in the song because the steel drum still sounds too good (maybe I should have chosen a different instrument). With a different type of music, the 4Bit sounds much worse.

Thank you for such an interesting message. You’re definitely dealing with phase cancellations, but how to eliminate them in a car with simple methods is something I’m unsure about myself. I find it a difficult topic. I’ve never thought about something like this before. In a studio or at home, you can solve quite a lot with a good EQ. In any case, I’d suggest taking a closer look at your crossover frequencies and testing whether you can optimize something there. The subwoofer may need to be crossed over at a lower frequency.
