Great flying plane on 4S G2 Smart pack. I'm now on the Eratix for 3D learning and bring back what I've learned to this bird.

CG check: use the plastic dzus 'screw' on top wing. Finger & thumb. I've had mine since Nov 2019. Has reverse too. Gotta hit reverse slowing down going into a strait up stall. BE ready tho!

Had mine so long (& at 100% throws, max surface throws) I've had to replace rudder servo a couple of times. Grass is hard on rudder servo. Gets more fun at -30% expo

Did you remove the 160g lead from the nose of the plane? So you replace the iron rod in the tail with a carbon one? Maybe your comments will change too.

After we made the video, we did remove the weights. It did feel much lighter in flight. We did use the carbon rod after the weight loss

Do you think there’s a better first 3d plane? I’ve been flying the timber x but want a dedicated 3d plane

I feel like the ultimate is a good in-between plane. Good flyer and Very aerobatic. If you want one closer to full 3d but still beginner friendly look at the FMS MXS.
