Hello FKIT, with this simulator it's possible to test all the possible configurations like the real switch or is limited. I have three switch HP 1920 and i want to create a vlan for management with a diffent ip interval for this vlan and another one for the PC's and other final devices i have various not admistable switch in the middle the thing it's i don't have a clue where i have to start so this simulation can help in this way i'm not worry for screw with the fisical devices. I appreciate any advice you can give me. Greetings and thanks.

i am trying to run the S/W i found issues in executing the file, its getting crash.

You need to start the hp simulator using a right click on the shortcut and selecting the option to run as administrator

Refir e funcionou. Agora estou instalando em um Windows 7 32 bits. Já fiz e refiz o procedimento mais de uma vez, contudo, sempre dá o mesmo erro ao tentar adicionar um switch ao final: Failed to create device. Acredito que por algum motivo o aplicativo não está se comunicando com a imagem presente no virtualBox. Tem alguma dica a respeito?

Hi, I followed every step but when I try to launch HCL, I get error "Please check your installation of VirtualBox API". Any ideas?
do your bios have the virtualization feature enabled? Virtualbox has issues if this is not enabled.
Another option is to try an older version of VirtualBox ...try to use the same version I used on the video.
