Max, With much joy, I'm watching your travels and interactions with the PEOPLE of VN. They are special and have adapted to very difficult times. Your VN mother is typical of a wonderful older Mamma san (SP) who will treat someone who they have a special liking, as their own son. Your very lucky to be able to travel in VN and learn so much about such special culture. My time in VN was 54 years ago during different times. My wish is to return and go back and visit places I did not have a chance to enjoy PEACEFULLY.

I always love to see people who care about others. Especially during a pandemic where I feel that people care so much about their own "less" important problems like not being able to party, travel or going out.
Doesn't matter what ethnic group you are. There are a number of very generous people out there whom don't have much. Their generosity comes from the heart.
It doesn't matter who you are when you come to Vietnam, we are family

Ive been following Max for a while. What I can tell is that Vietnam is where he belongs to.

Freakin Max, made me teared up 3 min into the video. Reminded me when I was back in VN. Visited my VN friend's relative, his relative not his family, who lives in a small village, their house has only a few modern things. And after a full blown feast they cooked themselves, they gave me a bunch of food for the trip home. I kid you not, the Vietnamese generosity is best exemplified by giving what they have in the house even if it's not fancy or nice, like old plastic containers, reused plastic bag to hold the food, small bag of sticky rice for the road, one time a sugarcane stick as a snack.
That’s very true. Vietnamese expresses their love with food. That’s why instead of asking how are you they will ask have you eaten yet?
I love the relationship you have with her . We have a similar one with a homestay family in Ninh Binh who we stay with every year well thanks to covid 2019 was my last trip . They truly are special people in vietnam which is why I fell in love with it years ago. Your videos are my way of staying in touch we love vietnamese food too so have been taking note of your fav spots especially in Dalat thank you
Once again Max....you're the best! Your Vietnamese Mom is such a darling. You're the real deal and that's what makes your videos so enjoyable. We've been behind on watching your videos, but catching up now after spending some time back in NE visiting old friends from our 33 years spent there while in the USAF. Da Lat is such a beautiful place and that would be our first place to live if in Vietnam. You and your GF make for a great team....keep up the great job. @@GalvinJr93 đc nhá.. bột sắn dây có tính đông đặc khi vào cơ thể nó sẽ đi vào thành ruột và làm trung hoà axit trong đó nên có thể giảm bớt triệu chứng trào ngược dạ dày
