Pentair IntelliFlo VS-3050 Pool Pump Install & Test

Back in November I did a video about setting up the electricity for this Pentair variable-speed pool pump. In this follow up, Larry and I plumb the pump in and fire it up. Leaks and hilarity ensue.

As a retired pool safety inspector, kudos. Most of the "pro" installers fail to install the required bolts to secure to the surface. Worse, many don't bother connecting the bond wire, potentially causing a shock, injury or death. (pun intended) I recommend having a pro electrician verify safe conditions, especially gfci and bond continuity. If your PVC is exposed to sunlight at all, I recommend painting it with an exterior latex for UV protection.
