I love perusing through these kind of shops and could spend hours in there. Nostalgia is a great thing and is always nice to see things you had when you were younger and also the collectibles you wanted but didn’t get.
What a brilliant shop with very reasonable prices and great selection. I hope the trend of these collector shops continues to grow across the UK. By the way, Love the videos Iain, keep it up! ❤️
Good to see The Space-Bridge store, quite a selection of items there to suit a variety of interests. I also owned that very same fire station from new and re-assembled it before sale many years later in a very fastidious fashion to check all parts were there. Thank you.
Wow what a store! A boxed Starbird!!!! I might have to take a trip/holiday to this part of the world just to spend some money in this store 😁. Brilliant video sir 👏
My hometown too Iain. The shop is fantastic and brings back so many childhood memories o the toys I used to have and wanted. Have been buying lego from there in the last couple of years. I find the prices very reasonable and always have a great range of minifigures and sets. Definitely worth a visit everyone.
Great video Iain, I like shops like that too! If it was closer, I think I’d be popping in to get Trevi Fountain. Unfortunately Lego had retired it when I started to buy Lego. Loved seeing the old computer games too. Thanks for sharing.
What a great selection of Lego. Need to head down but I'm from Ireland 🇮🇪 a bit of travel but might come over sometime 😊 and even meet u Ian 😄. Great video
Hi Ian , what a fantastic shop! I enjoyed watching your 2023 investment update video recently, will you be doing a follow up later in the year?? Please keep up the great videos as I really enjoy them. Thanks Ian , Matt from Dorset
Great video thanks. I was only into lego and action man back in the day so dont know much about star wars, pokemon, etc but fantastic to see these items. Ive got 5000 sealed lego minifigs in my collection and will sell one day as retirement nears. Thanks Iain.
Hi William, thanks for your comments. The shop was great - a lot of things in there that I wasn't into either. Sounds like an awesome minifigure collection
@iainsbricks hi Iain. I live in Glasgow. I missed you when you were in Loch lomond last year. Would you be interested in meeting me next time you are near Glasgow. Could maybe do deal with minifigures and old lego sets up to 10 years old, no pressure.
Hi Iain. Maybe we can chat through my Bricklink Store called Brick Allsorts in the UK. I can tell you what sealed sets and polybags etc I have if you are interested. I would be happy to post to you. Absolutely no pressure for you to get involved if you are not interested !!!!
Very nice shop, ive tried searching for stores like this in my area but not found any like that. I have that fire station too. Im working on a trade at the moment to get a space monorail.
I can't say about the other stuff, but as a gamer I can say that the prices were actually pretty reasonable, lots of other retro game stores seem jack up their prices way more than market value
Wow what a great shop. Thanks for sharing - an absolute nostalgia overload for me.
Thanks for watching. Yes, there is a lot of nostalgia in that shop.

Hi Matt. Yes, I will probably do other videos in the future looking back at past investment years again, including another 2023 update.

Yes, it's a really nice shop.
Good luck with getting the monorail.
I was hoping they might have some Classic Space but I didn't see any in your video.
No, unfortunately I didn't see any either, but they do get new stuff in all the time
What a find! Would love to have a similar shop near me where you could browse and find some gems
Yes, and this place is right on my doorstep.
Hi brilliant shop just wondering if you are going to attend the Swansea brick fair on 25 May hopefully I will see you there👍
Thanks Derek. Unfortunately I won't be at Swansea on 25th May as I will be away on holiday that weekend
@@iainsbricks That's a shame hope you have a wonderful holiday 😎
I can't say about the other stuff, but as a gamer I can say that the prices were actually pretty reasonable, lots of other retro game stores seem jack up their prices way more than market value
Yes, I do feel that a lot of the prices in there are very reasonable.
Awesome video is this place cheaper
Nice video Iain. Did you know that Smyths toys are now charging delivery £1.99. Before it was free over £20. Oh dear.
Thanks Wayne. No, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info
You should come to brick world Chicago in June.
I'd love to, but I already have quite a lot of plans this summer. I am going to a big Lego convention in the UK in May though.
My Gran and Grandad used to live there - no idea this store was there (though TBF, this was the mid 90's)
Looks a decent shop but i never understand a small business that is closed for 3 days a week ? See you in your next video
It is a great little shop. The guy runs it on his own so I guess he is just limited for time, but I guess it works for him.
Dows tgis retro stire have a online store were they ship to others parts in uk
No online store - only the physical shop.
Didnt knows a retro storevlocated in the uk
Yes, there are other stores in the UK as well, I'm sure.
£150 mini fig 😳
I know. Some of them can go for a lot of money
Ay first here!
Excellent. Thanks for watching
Did you pop into McDonald's after 😂
No, not this time.
Could do without the awful music, nice shop though
Apologies, but there was a lot of background noise that day, so needed to do a voiceover,
@@iainsbricks I understand I live on the I.o.w and its not too far to go for a visit thanx for showing us. I assume he buys 2nd hand lego from people
@@gilliancrouch3375 I know he goes to a lot of toy fairs in the US to get stock, but yes, most of the Lego appears to be 2nd hand
@@iainsbricks that's great thank you Best wishes
