This design just gets better with age...sign of a genuine classic and nostalgic car. Love it :-) . I think the Chris Bangle designed BMW E63 6 series (petrol) will follow suit √
I couldnt agree more :) and yes as much as Bangle cars were not appreciated when new, they are starting to age well. Does that mean that one day we will all like the extra large front grills on current BMWs?
@@CraigOnCars Err....not me I'm afraid to say,even though retro BMW's did indeed have upright grill's but smaller or narrower depending on age models etc. Please keep up the vids etc as this was the 1st one I watched (your channel) and I seriously enjoyed your content :-). Old skool is the Best skool √ seeing the Merc 190e in workshop leads onto another gem... The 190E 2.5 16V Cosworth Evolution 2... How bloody rare,outrageous BUT ohh so beautiful with genuine race/track car heritage. Thanks again :-)

Theres a few other videos on the channel about the 8 series as well - im currently having the bodywork restored, and im working on publishing a special episode tonight which you may enjoy if you like retro cars :) i’d love to do a film on a Merc cosworth! Craig On Cars I’d ordered a 340i in Estoril with a red interior (dealer called it Superman trim) but there were so many delays that I ended up with an M4 instead. It did finally get produced and they sold it quickly. Never saw it other than on their website though...someday I’ll have Estoril. Been toying with having the Caparis white areas on my i3 done in Estoril...

The e31 has been my dream car since 1989 back when I was 5. My father had a 92 850i in the early 90s. I really miss it :) cheers
It was a poster car for me as a kid - its a really interesting car to own. Rust repairs over the winter, i’ll share updates 👍
