Hi John, nice tour again, your were not lost! any road will do, (to a certain town) then on from there. North Yorkshire moors, are bigger than I thought, the valleys are wider, no wonder I have never been there, could not drive on them, too small, when I get me bike maybe, (pigs can fly), anyways lovely ride through country.

When you find lanes like these to ride, getting lost is a bonus. If you have a rough idea of an area, then at some point you will come across a road you want to take.

As you probably know now the road you wanted over the pass (Fleet Moss) to Buckden was back towards Hawes, or you can turn up at the church in Hawes. Doesn't really matter though, you had a great ride and you can go back another day 👍 I use a satnav and still get lost!
