Same. I went and saw Phantom Menace in the movie theatre 14 times in 1999. I was 19. It came out on my birthday. No one was gonna tell me that besides Jar Jar, the movie wasn’t excellent.

I like her as Padme more than I like her as Jane Foster. Also I had no idea that she took Anakin’s padawan braid.
Padme is by far my favorite role of hers. There is something magical about the way George Lucas writes (and directs) his characters, and her portrayal really made it come alive.

Enough time has passed: Natalie Portman deserved the Oscar for Jackie. I’m convinced that if she didn’t already have one, she would have won.

We know the prequels were meant to about Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker but you would have to be blind if you didn't realize how important Padme as a character is. In fact you could even say she's the main character. Especially in episode 1. It would be cool to get at least a flashback scene with her in Ahsoka. Many fans are expecting Clone Wars flashbacks and I am one of them.
Would love to see Natalie again in Star Wars. She also needs to come to a Star Wars Celebration - in the USA!! I would dip into my savings account SO deep for a photo op with her, Ewan and Hayden.😂 Love, love, love her so much!!

We need a Natalie Portman Padme/Sabe' series where she plays both characters. It can take place during the 18 months of the clone wars. Padme and Sabe' have to switch places so we see Natalie Portman play both then after Padme dies we can see Sabe' have an overall mission to find out what happened to Padme but Sabe' will have to keep getting drawn into the fledgling rebellion for contacts and info on Padme's death. We can follow it all the way to when Sabe' meets Darth Vader ( comics) but in live action. Andor style

Since then, I've seen many of your other movies, and was so thrilled you won the Oscar. I'm a bit of a geek, so I also very much enjoyed Thor. You performed Padme perfectly.

But Love and Thunder, while it made Jane as the Mighty Thor a one-off thing, did end with Jane being in Valhalla and hinting that Jane will become a Valkryie. Can see Natalie being open to return as Jane in the MCU after Love and Thunder for as long as there's something really interesting that she can do (basically as long as it's not gonna be like Dark World)
Natalie, is brilliant she showed her brilliance as an actress as a child in The Professional. She was awesome well before Star Wars much respect. She deserves much respect as a strong female lead without diminishing her for pushing woke agenda. She was an admirable character in Star Wars, while pretty and beautiful she showed depth in her acting ability a true compliment to the future Princess Leia.
Thor (2011) is a really cool cast mixed with Branagh's Shakespearean approach. I don't appreciate it enough.
