    I know Corden's been in hot water for his attitude/character towards others, but can't deny that the team behind the Late Late Show came up with some brilliantly creative segments
    Crosswalk the Musical, Carpool Karaoke, Drop the Mic, Acting Out Film Careers, etc. This kind of creativity - that both engages the guests, entertains the audience, and goes viral on the internet - is just genius.

    • @Czechbound
      @Czechbound Год назад +2

      He's a try-too-hard knob, but it's a difficult job, and you have to be his type to carry off the job that he made it. They did change things up, that can't be denied. And he's very talented at what he does. He's just a bit too full on for me, and I'd find him irritating beyond belief in real life. But I suspect I'd find most entertainers in real life like that. But I like watching them on screen. Just not him. I never watched him, and have just been seeing the last week highlights here. That crosswalk theatre thing was one of the lamest things I've seen. Just crap

    • @BlueAndGold31
      @BlueAndGold31 Год назад +3

      @@Czechbound For sure - his segments may be lame to some, but they've gone very viral on the internet. And really, in today's social media world, that's the goal
      Carpool Karaoke (his most famous segment) was so big, that it became its own show. Drop the Mic (celebrity rap battles) had the same route - was so popular on Corden's show, the segment got its own spin-off show on TBS.
      His adventures riding Top Gun fighter jets and going skydiving with Tom Cruise have millions of views online. I think bottom line is that Corden won't appeal to everyone (I was turned off after the comments on how mean he is to his staff), but there's no denying he has very talented and creative writers, who make segments for the modern generation of viewers

      @@BlueAndGold31 Exactly. Well summed up. I never watched his show ( bar the odd Carpool Karaoke with a couple of bands/ singers I was curious about). But I did watch most of the clips of his last shows. He'll go back to stage and screen performing and writing I think, and then when the oldies have died off, and the kids are out of school and living away from home, he'll go back stateside in some form ( maybe a sitcom or something ). He's a unique talent, just not for me.
