Our viewers have asked, so we're answering! Here's my update on what I think of the Shocker Hitch we've been using on our Venture Sporttrek Travel Trailer. At first, I wasn't too sure if we'd notice much of a difference in the pull, but after pulling about 2000 miles with it, honestly, I'm pretty impressed.

Looking to upgrade my 10k equalizer hitch and the shocker looks like a good addition.
Weight distribution is ok on level surface. If you hit uneven driveway or uneven surface it can put so much stress on the frame it can break it.

We actually have water sensors at home that text us if we have a leak. But it’s funny, when we leave the Campsite for the day we kill the water outside. 🤫 probably should do that at home! 😅

Hey guys! My wife and I have been watching your channel for awhile. Love your videos! You guys are awesome! We just started camping this year and are loving it! I just wanted to drop a quick note to look into concerning your water leaks. I noticed when you put the first alarm by the water pump that the factory plumbing *might* be incorrect. I see that there is vinyl tubing connected to the same connector as the pex line. AFAIK, there isn't anyone who makes a proper pex/vinyl junction connector that is correct for both connections. Vinyl tubing needs a barb type fitting and when it gets connected to a pex type fitting, it's prone to leaks. There is an adapter to go from pex to vinyl that screws together with a gasket, but not a junction if that makes sense. If you see vinyl tubing connected to a pex line via a plastic junction and not an adaptor, it probably will leak.
Just something to look into when you're looking to check for leaks. Keep up the great work! Be safe!
EDIT: I see that a pex to vinyl junction IS available in a brass type fitting. But almost none of the manufacturers use brass.

Was definitely curious about how you'd like the hitch. I know I'll probably regret saying this but I don't use a sway control hitch and I think that's the only part that would get me. Other than that, it looks like a good. On the Travel Ebike Cover, friends we camp with use a brand called Formosa? I didn't really like it and been looking around for one so I bought a GrillTough Gas Grill cover from Amazon and put Grommets in the bottom for travel. Not the prettiest but It works. Anyway, Safe Travels Guys.
Shocker does make a non weight distribution hitch if you’re interested. I’d buy another one I think. Thanks for the tip on the bike bag. Not sure what I’m going to do with that one yet. Safe Travels
I think a water alarm is a great idea. We have not had a leak but it would be nice to know before it gets bad. Also any alarm will always go off at the wrong time LOL!

We bought the Shocker Hitch after the first year with our RV. I feel that it has saved a lot of wear and tear on the RV by taking away the road shock from the tow vehicle. It might be overkill because our trailer is only about 5,000 lbs., but it has definitely come in handy on some rougher roads.
