    Also when loading into my truck I leave them open and then fold them in the bed of the truck. Load the front tire on the tailgate then lift the rear on to it with the kickstand down.

    We have folding Magnum Premium 3 ebikes, they fold, fit in 60 gallon Home Depot Tubs, and go right on our table that drops into a bed in our 5th wheel, the bins fit on the table in the bed position with the slide in. It works perfect for us.

    I just bought a TesLIca Force X1H foldable. Switched over to electric because of Knee replacement surgery. Did a quick test ride and instantly decided to purchase.

    I have a different foldable ebike and I found it I remove the outside pedal it can fit under my tonneau cover. Also depending on your aftermarket seat you might have to pull that out.

    We run GritRival electric bikes.
    Love them.
    They are a full size bike.
    Weigh 85 lbs with battery.
    I take out the battery when hauling on the bike rack. Battery is a large one.
    Most of the time I don’t use any motor assist.
    I just use pedal power.

    I have a Juiced Scorpion X E-bike which I absolutely love. I ride daily except for the winter months and currently have over 1,200 miles on it. The seat is like what you would find on a motorcycle and it's really comfortable. I bought and customized a Harbor Freight Aluminum Motorcycle Carrier with lights that mounts in my trailer hitch receiver and has a short ramp to load the E-bike.

      Never heard of Juiced! Looked it up real quick, tons of options, they almost look like mini motorcycles. Very interesting. Lots to continue to research…thank you for sharing!

    Love your channel guys. We are fellow Kentuckians. We love our Lectric 3.0s. I bought a bike ramp and roll them into the back of my Tacoma. It works great when pulling our travel trailer. I have a soft topper on the truck and they fit perfectly with the handle bars folded down. I will never ever ever fold these things again. Killed my back putting them into and taking them out of the Tubs. You should go to Mt Rodgers and ride the Creeper trail. Best thing ever. Prettier then Cades Cove in my opinion.

      Ooo ok, better than Cades? We’ll have to check that out!!
      We’ve seen the ramps, thought about looking into them on the back of the TT. The biggest dislike about those bikes is how heavy they are for sure! Thanks so much for the suggestions & kind words!

    The wife and I both have Lectric Xp lites for 2 years now. No gears and neither of us miss gears. Peddle assist is all we need! We have roughly 700 miles on them. We have had zero problems. We are in our late 50’s and feel these bikes would be great for any age group. Typically ride 20 - 25 miles every adventure. Plenty of battery left as long as we don’t do a lot of full throttle. Even though they fold, I only fold handle bars down and pop seat off to load into my Jeep. Easy easy. These are very solid bikes for the price. And for those who think you don’t get as much exercise as a regular bike, simply turn off peddle assist and get those legs burning! We have found so many new long trails that we love here in Michigan. Go get yourself an Ebike, you will love it!

    We have two Rad Rover 6 Plus Ebikes. These are full size "fat tire" ebikes that weigh about 80lbs each after putting on accessories.
    I have not found a bike rack that is compatible with the weight of the bikes and are rated for Travel Trailers.
    Definitely make sure you research any bike rack for compatibility with Travel Trailers before you buy.
    As it turns out, we bought a Rockwood 2911BS Travel Trailer which is a bunkhouse model with a baggage door in the bunkroom.
    We can load the bikes and strap em down in about 30 minutes and they are safe in the bunkroom.
    I have some ideas about making that better.
    If i didn't have the bunkroom i would haul them in thw bed of the truck.

    • @OurNextAdventurejvh
      @OurNextAdventurejvh  4 месяца назад

      We would heavily consider a different rig that had an indoor option to store e-bikes for sure! (That isn’t a toy hauler) Thanks for sharing! The fat tire bikes look like a lot of fun!

    Love our "lectric bikes 3.0" It gives us options on travel days. We have a bike rack, but I (the wife) hates putting them back there on the back of the fifth wheel. The roads, across any state, are horrible and I am afraid of them bouncing off, better yet, bouncing around and damaging the back end of rv. With the option to fold, they ride under the fifth wheel in the back of the truck.

    • @OurNextAdventurejvh
      @OurNextAdventurejvh  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, we agree. We have noticed one of the guards for derailer near the gears in the back got bent due to folding it down and traveling with it in the truck bed. So we don’t love that, but it can be handy at times.

    Seat cushion thickness does not make a difference. You need to toughen up the muscles between skin and sit bones. The pain you feel is you bruising that thin layer of muscle between bum skin and sit bone. Once you toughen it up the saddle thickness does not matter. A proper fitted saddle on a regular road or mtb or gravel bike has less than 1/8 inch of foam. I have been riding and racing for over 45 years and I have ridden every major brand out there. Every year the first ride of the year outside you will bruise the tissue and you need to let it heal for a couple of weeks. Then do it again. After about the 4th ride the saddle thickness does not matter.
    Hope this helps.

      @OurNextAdventurejvh  5 месяцев назад

      Sounds like I’ve got my work cut out for me! Haha! Either ride consistently or deal with the bruising lol

    Maybe I missed in the video but how do you store it at the campground? We were in topsail preserve state park and people there say they leave them unlocked in their sites.

    • @OurNextAdventurejvh
      @OurNextAdventurejvh  Месяц назад

      @@karimsaoud9378 yeah, pretty much just leave them next to the camper with combo bike locks. If someone wants them bad enough, sure they’ll get ‘em anyway unfortunately, like anything else you leave out. Good reason why RV manufacturers are coming out with models with a little Ebike storage room inside. I’m definitely interested in having that option! Especially if they’d give it a ramp!!

      @OurNextAdventurejvh  5 месяцев назад

      Lol actually we don’t. We do if required to, like on the Cades Cove ride in the Smokey Mountains, but they were little cheapies from a sporting goods store, so I honestly don’t know.

    • @Bucko74
      @Bucko74 4 месяца назад

      I did not wear a helmet in the beginning however after seeing another rider get killed on the same riding paved trail that I ride, I never ride without one. He slightly drove off the trail to give some walkers room and hit a hidden hole flipping him off the bike headfirst. I have a nice Kali helmet rated for 28 mph which is light and easy to wear.

      Lol yeah they seem to be very popular and honestly Lectric has done a great job sponsoring so many RUclipsr’s Ebike videos, they have successfully populated the RV community with their foldable bikes. We have interest in Adventon e-bikes but haven’t researched enough yet since we already have 4 Lectrics. But we wish we would’ve taken more time to research other options first. Either way, electric is so much fun and definitely easier to go on longer rides if you’re not a professional cyclist! Lol
      We’d love to hear what other people use because we’re considering trying something different in the future.
