We have had ours for 3 years and it is a life saver, picks up leaves and sand and debris. I clean and charge it after every use so it's ready. In the winter I charge it to 80 percent and store it for 6 to 7 months. Works great.
I am tired of seeing reviews where there are these near spotless clean pools and you see a robotic vacuum pick up a few little twigs, this for once actually gives us a more accurate demonstration on how powerful these things are especially if you have a dirty pool so thank you for the video.
I have one for my pool with allot leaves, and it works great. Misses a few stragglers, but for what it is and the ease of use, this is the best vacuum I have had yet for my pool.
@@cartrack730 omg thank you for the comment. I was looking everywhere for this video but could not find it. Now because someone commented on the video, it showned up in my notifications, so thank you for that lol. From what I understand Yes I am probably going to either get this one or the FIILPOW which alot of people seem to enjoy as well. The whole idea behind these robot vacuum's is not to go over once and accept a perfect clean, its to cut down on the high meanteance using other devices and tools to clean your pool and if you have to use it a few times before it gets clean, then it still works great in my opinion.
Just the answer I was looking for. I’m going to order one now. Wanted to know how it did with sand. My filter sometimes put sand in the pool. If this going to work then I’m ordering it.
It works great. Easy to clean out the screen. One thing I do not like is the propulsion stirs up debris which then its not on the bottom for it to vacuum it up! Everything else is awesome.
I have had mine for over a year. Have loved it! However, it has stopped working and I can't reach customer service and find out what I need to do. No phone number, no email, nada! Can anyone help me out there? I love this thing but it isn't working.
We bought it. Followed all the directions, put it into the pool, it zoomed right to the wall and stopped dead. Tried it again. Same results. The thing never turned around. We tried for hours over 2 days to try to get this to work. We have a flat above ground oval pool. We adjusted the jets, we sent it the shorter distance across the pool and we sent it the longer distance down the length of the oval. Same results, it rushes down the straightaway and then stops dead. After all these hours spent trying to figure out the problem we're done. Very difficult getting any answers from the seller on Amazon. They want us to send videos of the thing not working. Nice trick if you can do that. Bright sunlight, murky water. What a huge waste of time and money. Great video, wish ours worked like yours does.
@@GReviewz It just stops dead. It seems that it never triggers the switch. They want to send me a new motor and a new battery to replace it myself. I no longer want it. I've spent way too much time on a brand new product that should have needed nothing more than you showed in your video. The "leaf paddle" is attached to the switching mechanism, the machine only works in one direction. If we put it in the pool with the side that works it will race across the pool and do its job. When it hits the wall it's done. If we put it in the pool and while it is sinking it gets turned around, it goes directly to the nearest wall and stops.
Would you by any chance be able to give me a close up photo of the thing that floats up and changes the direction? I can't figure out how to put it on! Mine has a spring. Thanks.
Hi, we lost the charger and I cannot find a replacement online, which is a little odd. Do you know if I can get one online without chasing down customer service?
@@jaimekonowal8082 I took ours to a local computer/electronic device repair shop and had them splice the tip onto another cord. I'm not sure if you have an IGeek in your area, they did mine. It doesn't have a light indicator but it works. I paid $20, luckily they had an extra cord there with the specs. If not you can look up the specs and order another that matches the specs and just have the tip switched. A friend of mine ordered another robot identical to it and returned it because "it didn't come with a cord"....so she says anyway.
Hi I purchased the same model but noticed it's not picking up my dirt as much as it was. I have round above ground pool too. Do you have any suggestions? Also is there a special way to take out of pool cause when I pull that heavy guy out water stays in then I pull above water level it comes out sides along with debris
You can, but it will clog the filter pretty quick with all of the particles in the water. I typically run the vacuum early in the morning before the pool pump turns on
I have had mine for 3 years, it works great, it cleans great, the one issue I have that the 2 springs on the bottom flaps flow off as I was cleaning the device, the down side of this device that I seem not to find any parts for it, any recommendations will be appreciated.
Yes it does! It does an excellent job of cleaning up algae and leaves. Those are the things it is best at vacuuming. Well worth the price. And there is a $60 coupon right now on amazon. Check it out on my link.
I have the same type of pool vacuum by by a different manufacturer. To set the record straight, I do not think this is a complete solution to keeping a pool clean. In my personal experience, it gets stuck behind my ladder multiple times, and I have to" rescue" it so it can complete it's cleaning cycle. Also, in case if it doesn't clean the entire pool I also have a Pool Blaster vacuum so I can touch up on the locations that the robotic vacuum missed. Nevertheless, it is a much more convenient solution to use vs using other cleaning methods.
I found a replacement battery from another coupling I’m going to try but based on my experience I would not recommend this product or the company. One good year and now it doesn’t work at all
Today my robot would not turn on. It has a full charge and will turn on with the charger comnected, but that aint no help at all. Anyone have a solution? Update: I solved problem.. I threw it in the trash can.. never ever will I buy a product from qomotop again, incredible.. they don't even sell replacement parts!
Make sure you drain the battery completely. Turn it on. Leave it in the pool overnight. Make sure no lights show when you turn the on/off dial. I did this to mine and now it’s working.
Mine worked a couple of times but will not power on now (switching it to on does nothing). The charger lights up but does not seem to charge or notice that the unit needs a charge.

When it hits the wall, does one of thr jets turn off? Or is one of the jets still pushing water?

I need a replacement filter for this. Do you have any idea how to find one? I’ve run out of ideas 🤷🏼
Mine quit working after one partial season. Doesn't work on algae. Support is nonexistent. Great on leaves, but used probably 10 times.
mine worked great all last year. this year it only moves 3 feet oneway then stops and goes the opposite way for 3 feet. frustrating...

is it strong enough to suck up accumulated dirt on the bottom?
Got a 24 ft round aboveground pool. With 8 inch drop in middle . Would this vacuum work?
It should work fine. However it does work best with a completely flat bottom.

Is there anyway to order a replacement that cover that goes charging plate

does it automatically stop when it's full?
it stops when the battery is dead. :) hope this helps
Can it pick up sand? I have a sand filter that sometimes throw sand in the pool
Yes, it has very powerful suction
@@GReviewz thanks.
Mine is not vacuuming the algae. Am I doing something wrong?
No, it doesnt have much adjustability. You set it and forget it. Did you attach the bristles to the bottom? In the middle of the unit?
