If anyone is wondering, the CPU wattage for the all-AMD system shows the shared power between APU and dGPU via the APU power rails. So, if you can get the dGPU wattage to monitor, all you need to do is minus the displayed 'CPU' watts to that of the dGPU and get the actual CPU draw. All of which seems to be 120w with SmartShift Max on. That means with an average of ~90w taken by GPU, it is around 27-32w used by CPU.
@@RezaldiIndi yes. Fps vs fps, the 7600s is more energy efficient vs the 4050. And that is a good thing. AMD may be a better choice than nvidia this time round (actually even when 6000 rdna2 too).. And fsr3 will soon include frame generation so features are about as good.

Well, i think the only selling point of rtx 40 is the frame gen feature , but after FSR3 release,you can just buy a rtx30😂 Although I am all for amd now😂
The RTX 4060 is not that much of an upgrade from the 3060 but compared to the 4050 and the 3060 you do get the extra 2GB which will give you some future proofing.
wow, this video really helpful. since those 4050 laptop rather expensive (at least in my country). It priced slightly above 3060 laptop. while ASUS TUF A16 Advantage edition price below 3060 laptop. I dont do productivity works with GPU, and 7600s purely for gaming. Also AMD CPU currently perfect match with windows 10 since my office not allowed win11 yet, and affraid BIG.little Intel CPU having issue with windows 10.

7435hs and 7735hs are practically the same processor having same performance the only difference between 2 is that 7435hs doesn't have igpu making battery backup not that good

funny thing is that 7600s laptop cost 1300 euros here in EU, and rtx4050 laptops are cheaper. Even rtx4060 laptops starts at 1050 here. I would rather buy a 4060 laptop for 1100 euros then rx7600s for 1300 euros. Ok we'll have an all Amd laptop, and 4060 is pared with Intel i5. With i7 cost 1200, and should be comparable cpu power. 4060 is way faster then a 7600s. 7600s is against 4050 performance wise. Amd brand for laptops are to expensive here. Same config but Intel or Amd cpu and Amd is always more expensive. And not lots of laptops with Amd gpu's yet here.
Just saying adding that the 4050 or 4060 has a 140 watt mode is miss leading as the 100 watts is the most you'll get out of the silicon due to locks on the Voltage regulator

@@Hubwood Try to turn off the E core and equalize the smoothness. I think the problem is in the Windows scheduler, because as I understand it, the AMD system actually has an old 6800H without a Big Little system

Makes testing WAY more time consuming as I tend to forget to reset it on many recordings and then have to do it all over again 🙈 Thats why I add the frame time graph to give an idea of the stutterings instead. I think the frequency of stuttering and seeing them says more than 1% low actually. You can get bad 1% low with only one single stutter Ling while the rest of the test went fluent. And you can get better 1% low with many little spikes... You know what I mean 🤔?

AMD's got FSR 3 now, with Frame Generation better than DLISS 3.0, so I guess it's settled that 7600s is better than 4050. Although, NVidia is about to release DLISS 3.5, that may change something, but if it's something big, it's shouldn't be named as half gen, therefore, shouldn't change much

@@carlosbecerra8409 new ryzen 7000 series is designed for higher Temps. For example the desktop ones run at 95C. No matter which cooler/Fan. Doesn't mean alot in that case. ;)
For the AMD System it can only show the combined Wattage of CPU and GPU. Just reading the GPU Wattage did not work. It's an issue of the AMD Advantage Edition of this Laptop.

Looking at multiple benchmarks, I am more impress with RTX 4050 than any other GPUs in 4000s. RTX 4060 is terrible.
Rtx 4050 is basically 3060 with frame generation.

I'm buying the adv edition too. But it seems to have horrible hiccuping in games and screen ghosting, so no competitive fps gaming
