For the Heroes boxes, I think this was the 4th set. The 3rd set (Nurgle), was the first to guarantee you the complete set if you bought a sealed box. I bought the Set 1 (Firstborne) and Set 2 (Terminators) boxes and have multiples and missing some of the good models, they were random.
The blind box concept originated in Japan so that's the other language card. Mini blind boxes are a big thing over there and just started to come this way over the last 10 years or so. If I remember correctly, for the first set, it was only released in Japan and then fans made a stink so they re-released it to a wider audience. Some of the 1st box minis made their way into the B&N and Target exclusive games which I cannot remember the names of.

The duplicate I got was also the regular Intercessor. This is what I have seen on other unboxing videos as well. It figures the duplicate will be the guy least likely to be taken for Kill Team play. Oh well. The price point is typical GW over pricing. That said, if you compare the per model cost for a Captain, an Eliminator and a Heavy Intercessor it is not horrible.

okay thats interesting to hear. i figured it would be random, but thats def less appealing, if its always the worst guy! i'd have loved to get an extra grenade guy, or one of the specialists! cheers thanks for sharing!

When I bought and opened the product, like you showed, I expected all 7 individual models and the 8th as a duplicate. This was not the case! I only received 6 of the models, with 2 duplicates - that sucked big time, especially when they say you actually get the full 7 in the KT with 1 duplicate as an advertisement for buying the complete set over buying individual items.
Lucky for me, when I ordered, I ordered 2 sets. Get this: the second set had the exact same problem - 6 of the models, with 2 duplicates - 1 missing team member in each set!
Why lucky you ask? Because the second set had duplicates of the missing model from set 1 and the 1st set had 2 duplicates of what was missing from set 2. The sad thing in all this is that, after swapping the missing models, the final duplicate model was the _same_ for both sets - crazy, huh?

you get one extra model, from what i've heard its always an extra intercessor, but only have like 3 people so far confirming they too, got an extra intercessor as the random model
