Nice! This is the one I had been thinking about putting on my trunk build but wasn't sure how big to make it. I had scaled up the original pattern from the course by 38% or whatever it was you had mentioned for the full size one maybe 6 months ago or so and had thought about replacing the handle on one of my guitar cases, but after making a paper mockup of the trunk and holding that one up it seemed a little too big so I'll definitely try out this 25% one since it seems it fits your hand well enough and I think we're about a similar size. I'm looking forward to the next course so I can finish the layout and see what else I need to adjust before I start cutting anything! If I can pull it off the way I want to it's going to be kind of ridiculous i think.
Yeah, I've just finished attaching it to the trunk this evening, and it's got a decent amount of clearance for that particular lock. I dare say I could have gone as low as 120%, but I'm happy with the proportions. Looking forward to seeing yours, you always add a little nitrous! :D
