More attention & funds need to be put towards women's menopausal years.
Men experience a drastic drop in testosterone after the age of 40 that causes them a lot of symptoms to and it's not called "manopause," it's simply referred to as low testosterone or testosterone deficiency. We need to stop calling it menopause and refer to it as low estrogen or estrogen deficeincy. This would remove the stigma and open up the conversation. Let's be clear, women experience symptoms sometimes in their early 30s. We need estrogen, let's stop acting like we don't and should suffer through it.
I have had ultrasounds of my heart, been on heart monitors, EKGs up the wahzoo, you name it. Because of a rapid heartbeat and palpitations, and NO ONE ever discussed menopause!! 😡
