Here’s our way to end off 2020 and usher in a brand new 2021 - a tribute to celebrate the courage and strength of all our fellow Singaporeans over the past year.
This rendition of Ai Bia Jia Eh Yia (爱拼才会赢) comes from a special place in our hearts. 1023 has always been passionate about showcasing our nation's diverse languages and dialects, and this Hokkien hit is one of our all-time favourites.
And doing this project has meant so much more for us. As individuals, we have each faced our share of tough times this past year. But just like you, we have come out of it tougher. This a cappella cover is our way of recognising and celebrating how far we have all come as a people.
So this one’s for you, Singapore. Now and always, your grit and fighting spirit inspires us to keep going, year after year after year.
