Thank you soooooo much. This is the best tutorial ever! All I wanted to do was to accompany myself while singing this song, and I feel like I'm going to be able to do it.

High standard as usual, Nate.
My request? "A big hunk o'love" in the version from the Hawaii satellite concert.

wow this is so awesome to hear! Cheers!
Loved it… as a guitar/bass player, been hearing this song since 70’s when it came out…Been working it out on acoustic guitar and it sounds lovely so far. Great lesson!!! Major KUDOS…. Also see your doing “Alone again naturally” KEEP ROCKING THE CLASSICS!!!
Very good work, Nate.
My proposal: "A big hunk o'love" in the version from the satellite live concert.
Would you do a video about that?
I would love if you made a tutorial for Bennie and the jets! It would be something really challenging, greetings from Mexico city 🤪
Good idea!
Nice! I would really really really like a tutorial on American Pie
Noted!
Nate, thank you so much for this great classic! Wonderful teaching style! Keep up the great work!!
Thanks so much! Will do!
This is a great one Nate. Thank you so much. I can't wait to learn how to play it! 🥰🥰
Have fun!
Thanks for your help on this one Nate. Much appreciated.
Cheers!
Great tutorial, as always. Carole King is one of my heroes - so many iconic songs, both as a writer for others, and as a performer. Tapestry is an amazing album, even after all these years. It’s great that you are making the piano part so accessible for us. Would love to see a version of “So Far Away” if you ever get round to doing another song off the album.
Noted! I agree, fantastic album that I am only now discovering
Another great video. Can you do Flowers by Miley Cyrus, please? 😊
Heyyy Nate!! Great song choice. The notes are bigger again 😀👍 easier to follow. thank you for showing us all the chords and that melody. Your method is thorough as usual!! Thank you for reviewing each section and for explaining the rhythm!! 🎶 awesome tutorial and it’s fun to watch your cover!!
I just searched "earth moved under My feet" Thanx Nate!
Thanks Charlie!! I'll be going back and forth between the two softwares depending on the key of the song for now haha, but they people who make the new one said they would add a feature for me to make the notes bigger in a month or two. Thanks as always for your kind words, cheers!
@@PianowithNate TYSM Nate
Heyyy Nate!’ Sounds good! It is understandable. Nice, looking forward to seeing that new update! In the meantime looking forward to your next tutorial! As always, thank you for writing back!!👍🎶
Beautiful song. My only request is Aaron Neville "tell it like it is"
Ya always got something good up your sleeve, Nate. Love it. Keep it up!!
Hi Nate could you do ( I feel the earth move ) carol king I love that song?
It's on my list :) not sure when I'll get to it, but I will
Hello Nate, thank you for this great tutorial. Your teaching method is very effective, it helps me a lot. May I drop a request for a tutorial for the beautiful song " Morning has broken " by Cat Stevens. There is a lovely piano version of it by Rick Wakeman. Thanks a lot !
I went also love this song. One of my favorite cat Stevens song
Anything by Cat Stevens would be great to learn!! "How Can I Tell You" is my absolute fav of his. Oh, I'd love to learn it! 🙂
How about "Father and Son" by Cst Stevens or ""Two Fine People"
please do "i feel the earth move" by carole king. the piano part is killer!
Good call! I'll mull it over :)
Love this! My 9 year old loved your Wild World Tutorial. She surprised my dad by playing it for his birthday and he was so moved by it. She told me she really wants to learn Carole King’s Beautiful next, but she doesn’t like the other tutorial videos that are online. She asked me if I could come on here and request you to do a tutorial for “Beautiful” 😊.
Wow that is SO cool to hear. I've taught many 9 year olds over the years, most of which could not have followed the Wild World tutorial at the level I taught it. She sounds very talented, AND like she has great taste in music :)
I'll check out Beautiful and mull it over...no promises though!
@@PianowithNate Thank you 😊. She’s only been playing since January, but she seems so have a real passion for it. She has Autism so she tends to hyper focus on things she likes and the piano seems to definitely be something she loves 😊. Thanks for responding, looking forward to seeing more future videos!

Nata GREAT video; big question! I’m really dying to learn to play “So Far Away” by Carole King. Any chance we could see a video on that sometime soon?

Welcome aboard! I definitely plan on doing some more Carole King
Could you have a go at your version of nowhere man please? I know its a guitar song, but it would be cool to play on piano
Cool idea!
How about something from Rihanna. We found love or stay ?
hi nate!! i absolutely adore this tutorial! i was wondering if perhaps you could do a tutorial of “cool about it” by boygenius? they are one of my favorite bands at the moment and it’d be awesome to see you do a cover of them! keep up the amazing videos!!
I'll check it out! I love everyone in that band
Request, if I only had a brain..there is some great renditions of this song ...on the web
Interesting idea! I'll mull it over
In the intro is it truly D6 or Bm/D? I would need to listen to it to hear what the bass guitar is doing
It's a good question! I called it D6 because the A is also in there, which is the 5th of a D chord and doesnt appear in a Bm chord. I suppose you could call this a Bm7/D, but I percieve the root as the D...the electric bass is indeed playing a D there. At the end of the day, I don't put a ton of stock in the naming as long as you play the right notes...sometimes there can be more than one "right" answer and it can even depend on your own subjective perception of the sound
The rhythm might be tricky for me. Sometimes on piano I get stuck in a rut and play the same rhythm for everything. Same with guitar. Everything was down, down, up, up, down, up. Lol. I do need to practice other rhythm methods and work on my timing. Ive never used a metronome. Usually, if I know a song well I can get the timing by instinct and feel and can get fairly close.
I definitely recommend the metronome!!
@@PianowithNate I need to learn the metronome and the sustain pedal. Those are both my weak spots. Ill get there. All it takes is practice
It’s hard to resist the urge to add in melody and harmony! Like on the first chord of the chorus.. I really want to add in that high A note where she’s singing. I guess what I’m saying is you sometimes get a little bit lost in the song and forget where you’re supposed to be
If you hear something, by all means add it in! I’m curious, do you sing while you play these songs or do them as instrumentals? I always base my arrangement on what is played on the recording, but it will definitely sound empty and beg for more ornamentation and melody if there are no vocals
Can you do Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart
That would be a great one
That is really a van Morrison song
@@ricardb9106 right, just like rod's take
