I am grateful for watching this telling, both the longer more formal presentation and the shorter piece with Eugene Moy - now I will employ this knowledge and awareness of the 1871 Massacre of Chinese in Los Angeles as BURIED HISTORY and work on my "obligation to remember" when going forth. Thank you Lotus Fong for alert and the Chinese Museum, LA, for dedicated institutional work.
a general history text book can only be filled with so much and even the stuff that makes it in the books is often an abridged and digestible version for students.

Is it only me who feels a certain nostalgia and strange feeling while watching these old documentaries from the 80s/90s? which I also find 100 times better than those of today. the Asian community in addition they have always been very discreet communities in history wherever they have settled
I wish this went into more detail. Like the Chinese that were lined up on the mountain (the one right in the middle of down town Rock Springs) and we're shot off the mountain
What is very interesting,is..that china has built a Paris, adorned with an eiffle tower,a Washington DC and full size replica of the white house, and in reference to this information,I think it's very intriguing that they have also created a whyoming USA in china as well.🤔 I will research to see what town is being depicted in china's Wyoming and come back to update. folks should see china today - number one in everything. Chinese people had major hardship, but always seem to get back on top. much love from berlin, Germany. xoxo

There was a Chinese massacre 14 years earlier in Los Angeles (1871)
To this day digging up bones of the deceased is common in Greece
there is a book in the Wheatland Wyoming library about the massacre.
Do you remember the name of the book? I might have to take a drive that way.
