      Tika X Hi, teasing the hair is to create a seamless blend without any hint of a blunt line. The technique is somewhat unique. The idea is it pulls some hair out and away from the color so when everything comes backs together, there is a natural blend of highlights and base hair.

      @@cheysicamacho1578 this is what I’m interested in doing as well. When you say apply it to the teased area, do you mean like doing a root smudge after everything is washed out. So lift with the bleach, let sit around 35 min then shampoo, next tone it(you made a 7nb) then rinse out? If I don’t feather it but instead use a comb to make every other section bleached, do I still need to tone it? I’m assuming the tone is bec of the part you’re feathering but I’m thinking it’s to cover all strands of bleached hair.

    Looks great. I’m confused on the front. The end results are beautiful but with all the foils you put in the front, how is it not a super blonde clump? You weaved and teased the first one. Then the second one you just weaved and foiled. The one exactly after that you weaved and didn’t tease, or did you? Then you went back with the hairs that were left out you teased and foiled. It just seems that the 2nd and 3rd foils would be super thick there. (Sorry, 30
    Yr stylist trying to learn new techniques) thanks

    • @cheysicamacho1578
      @cheysicamacho1578  4 года назад +3

      Hi! Thank you for watching my video.
      First foil I weaved and teased
      Second foil I weaved without teasing
      3rd foil I weaved without teasing
      I then left out a slice for depth ( this is the one I go back at the end and tease and saturate the ends)
      Next foil I weaved without teasing
      The following foil I weaved and teased
      I sliced and teased the next 3 foils( the reason why the result is very soft is because I tease about 50-75%)
      I then weaved and teased the second to last foil the last foil was a slice and teased. I hope this helped. ❤️
