- The video and theme I've been so excited to release! I've gotten a lot of Chrono Trigger subscribers over the past couple months, and how could I boast of playing CT music without having this theme on my channel?! This is one of Zohar's best CT arrangements I think. Very "to the point" but also geniusly spiced up. Couldn't get any better than this! So I present to you something I've been planning two years to give- FROG"S THEME!
If you're a Chrono Trigger fan, tell me if you remember the part in the game where Frog refuses to come with you after defeating the first chancellor in the cathedral. When you go up to speak to him at the castle stairs, this theme suddenly and hilariously starts playing. I used to die laughing every time XD

@@20_below people can change dude. Give poor Janus a chance, you dick...hahaha I'm kidding. Mostly. For real tho, you've been missing out on probably the second or third strongest attack in the game. Also, consider that Janus was thrown 12500 and some years into the future at the age of what, 8? Just a guess, but he was then raised by Ozzie to be an asshole and hate humans. His becoming a douche bag was probably inevitable, unless he and Schala would have some how gotten away from their psychotic mother...which was also Lavos' fault too somehow.

I love how her face lights up at 2:40. The feeling you get when playing a truly great piece... Fantastic, she made me feel it too.

Glenn was such a layered character. Watching his story unfold was the best part of Chrono Trigger. It had the most gravitas, the most emotion. I would play Chrono Trigger all over again just to play through that storyline.
I just found it pretty unfortunate that for how hyped up his questline's sword was, it ultimately ends up getting swapped out relatively quickly for more effective weapons... Love the character so I had to have him in my party, but come on lol
@@Bombedrumbum it ends up being his ultimate weapon -- plus, the way that he unlocks its true strength relates to his backstory with Cyrus.
Well there is good news for all the Chrono Trigger fans since the game is now available on Steam.
"My name is Glenn! Long have I carried Cyrus' hopes and dreams, and now I bear the Masamune as well!
Henceforth, I claim them as my own! I shall slay the Fiendlord Magus and restore our honor!"
@harrythebarry Naaah it's much better that way. No other character from the middle ages spoke that way and it just made Frog's speech really awkward and out of place. Removing it was a boon.

I feel like this is the most stirring song in the game. You felt Glenn’s pain but also his strength at never giving up when the chips were down. You can see how happy you are playing this too, true Chrono fan!
When you need to split a mountain in half:
you can hear his resolve, bravery, and class. always loved this theme.
Masterpiece of a game in all aspects... from story, to gameplay, to music and graphics, it´s just a work of art, no question.
I know I'm late to the party with this video and I know few will understand what I'm about to say but this melody has gotten me through things I can't even describe. I've never heard it outside of the game and honestly this is such a beautiful rendition of it. Thank you so much for your time in making it. Your talent is amazing. From someone who appreciates this so much, my heart is so happy right now. I can't wait to see what else you can do.

Magnificent! Honestly, I binged your channel a while back and it got me playing piano and becoming fluent in sheet music again. I write music for a living, but I rarely sit down just to play. So thank you for sharing your gift; you are inspiring many, myself included!

Indeed, picked it up the other day on steam (3rd time Im going to play it after like 4 years) and the combat still feels good to this day, its like a fine wine. For example, even FF7's (My favorite game) combat feels stall sometimes while CT its just so engaging it never feels boring. Great game, probably the best RPG ever made.
This is literally my favourite character from any game. No spoilers. But pick this game up on steam now its on there. Frog is an absolute badass

Just finished a playthrough, met Lavos with Crono, Lucca and Frog, my favorite party. Luminaire + Frog Flare beats all :)
Out of the characters I felt like Frog had the best character development/back story.

Watching Frog tear open the mountain with the Masamune never gets old. I've seen that scene over 100 times, and I get goosebumps every last time. His musical piece is my favorite from CT.
The raw talent and effort put into this is one thing, but I love seeing the genuine excitement on your face as you play. I can tell you care a great deal about music and games.
