  • With four new rides, three themed lands, a multitude of restaurants, and two luxury hotels, Fantasy Springs is one of the most anticipated Disney projects in recent memory. After six years and over 2 Billion USD of development and construction, Tokyo DisneySea is months away from unveiling this behemoth of an expansion to the public, but what’s in store for guests, what should we expect upon opening and do you even have a chance of getting into the land?

    Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea sounds like an absolute dream come true! Thanks, ReviewTyme, for giving us the lowdown on what to expect from this epic expansion. With four new rides, three themed lands, and a plethora of dining options, it's shaping up to be a truly magical experience. The amount of detail and investment put into this project is mind-blowing, and I can't wait to see it all come to life. Counting down the days until I can step foot into this enchanting world of Disney magic! 🏰✨

    Fun fact: Indiana jones is considered a trackless attraction source: behind the attraction on disney +. Also, tower of Terror has a trackless scene and is a height requirement attraction. So you can say Peter Pan Adventure is the 4th with a height requirement. Third height requirement for a fantasyland attraction (Matterhorn & Mine Train)

    I'm willing to be lines won't be as bad as some think it will. On opening lines will be crazy, but DisneySea has a lot of rides, shows and other attractions already. Now they'll have 4 more rides, 4 more restaurants and a new hotel (that I'm sure guests will spend time at). There's about 35 rides and shows at DisneySea vs. a park like Epic Universe (about 16 maybe).
    Even if attendance matches 2019 levels (2019 was about 14 million vs 2022s 10 million) the park should be able to handle crowds.

    • @officialmonarchmusic
      @officialmonarchmusic 3 месяца назад

      Also depends on your definition of what a "bad line" is. Is 3 hours a bad line? Is 4? Is 5?

    • @ThisIsDownstate
      @ThisIsDownstate 3 месяца назад

      hmmmmm the lines are crazy at both parks since the borders re-opened after Covid. The Yen is so weak right now, it probably doesn't cost much more to fly to Japan and vacation here for a week, than it does to go WDW even if you're from America. But i have been checking the app a lot these-days (i live in Tokyo) wondering if its more chill even in winter, but not really to be honest. 120 -180 minute wait times are common almost everyday, and we're even talking like 45 sometimes for things like peter pan and star tours. When Fantasy Springs opens, I guess park capacity is increased, so I don't see it chilling out at all. Probably the opposite tbh. But i hope i'm wrong because i want to go again soon !

      Mermaid Lagoon exists. It doesn't really have any story behind why it's there. At least Fantasy Springs is (possibly) connected to the S.E.A. due to an involvement with a character called the "Duchess". There's some really weird lore about a spirit making carvings of the characters into the springs and portals to the different lands in the area.

      @@partyjam3900 can kind of see how it's similar to Epcot's case, but I wouldn't say it's as bad as Epcot. A Port Discovery expansion would've been much preferred, but DisneySea really needed additional capacity and more family rides. The area is also pretty much disconnected from the rest of the park and is more of a dlc, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem regarding the theming of the rest of the park. On the other hand, Searider just doesn't belong in DisneySea and feels really intrusive.

      Originally, there were rivers and springs at Tokyo DisneySea that flowed into Fantasy Springs. And there Fantasy Springs was created. That makes sense. It's true that just looking at the name makes it a far cry from Tokyo DisneySea, but if you look at the story of Tokyo DisneySea, you'll understand why Fantasy Springs was created. There are explanations and explanations on RUclips in Japan, but they are not in English, so only Japanese speakers can understand them.
