Def Frozen & Rapaunzel. I feel like peter pan was a miss opportunity to be a ground breaking E attraction. It seems very similar to Universal’s dark ride attractions like spider-man, etc. i hope i’m wrong and it blows my mind away when i go on it later in the yr.

Hey I worked for the company that made all of the scenic elements of the Frozen Attraction and outdoor areas! It was really cool to get to paint and texture a lot of the castle walls and roofing even down to the smallest elements.
Imagineering would often come and tour our work after parts were assembled to ensure quality before being taken back apart and shipped overseas to Tokyo. The circular ice staircase that Elsa is standing on in particular was in our warehouse for a looooong time and got in the way. It had to be supported in a particular way while being painted. A lot of these pieces are extremely heavy. The fireplace in the restaurant was on display for a long time as well before being finished and packaged. Several of the attraction facades were assembled. And usually during disassembly the parts would get damaged a bit, so we had to repair and repaint them. I can point out several areas where this has happened. The roof shingles in particular were very easy to get damaged, they are made from strips of 2x4 that were stencil cut by the woodshop, and then we would sand each and every one and weather them before painting.
A lot of hard work went into making these things.
And this was 2 years ago by the way.
I still have a photo from the tags that were attached to each piece before being sent out.
The castle rockwork was even more interesting to make as well. The frames are steel with plywood as a base. Then the rocks are simply wood cut into the various shapes, then plastered on top and stamped with various rock textures. The castle turrets involved a lot of sandblasting to get that weathered wood look. Tons and tons of work went into this project.
Of course, we were not allowed any creative liberties as imagineering had a specific vision for every aspect and we had to follow strict guidelines for painting everything.

We just had a last minute change of plans while on our trip in Japan and did a spontaneous visit to Tokyo Disney Sea. Thankfully I had watched so many of your videos we were prepared and had an amazing day. We got there early and were able to visit Fantasy Springs and go on Rapunzel's Lantern Festival. Loved it! Thank you for the great content!

Thanks! Purely by coincidence of timing, we are visiting TDR (family converging from US and Thailand) on the 6th and 7th. If I can get your opinion: Do you think we'll be able to get into Fantasy Springs on the 6th, or do you think we should push Sea/DS to the 7th? Was already planning on a lot of DPA anyway since this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the Thailand folks.

That's such a tough question to answer since this is the first time they've done entrance into an area like this, so I have no idea what to expect. I think the chances are probably the same on the 7th as they are the 6th, I doubt there will be much change in demand in a day. So, go with what works best for your schedule is my advice.
