I have a medium-high built, but been having random crashes during games, first though it was gpu(3080ti) but after several test, now considering ram, great video, will give it a go and see how it goes
The thing that you need to remove each stick of RAM and re-do the test is kinda lame for me. We should have something similar to Crystaldisk but for RAM
Thanks this thing work for me, after restart its already say "hardware problem were detected" and im already sure my ram is faulty but im still want to make sure lol. And yeah it detected it.
This actually doesn't stress the IMC, so it's a waste of time, because you might have stable timings for the RAM kit, but the second you add stress on IMC it just borks, I'd recommend TM5+Extreme profile or OCCT for actual RAM testing
If we smash the like button then we'll need to test the mouse. in Windows Logs/System you can also order the list in the right window by date then check the latest Information entry labeled MemoryDiagnostics/Results under the Source column
Going to give this a try. Ive got a high end setup and suddenly I have random crashes and screen stutter during gameplay on fortnite. I'll report back. Thanks.
@@mikesunboxing No errors were found in the ram, But I did see a error called DistriutedCOM. I'm going to google it to see what that is. lol. It said it timed out. I was hoping it was ram issue . @@mikesunboxing oo okay, i just recently bought 2 8 gb ddr3 rams and i was disappointed that my 2nd slot isn't reading the 2nd ram. By any chance u also have a fix problem of motherboard before? Been trying to find those problems in youtube but for some reason there's no video for it.
Hi I have four ram stick and don't know which one got faulty. How would I go about testing it ? Should I run memory diagnostic on each ram stick individually??
I used this diagnostic and it immediately said there are problems and then continued for an hour to come to the same conclusion. Now I have to go through this precess four times testing each ram one at a time. You would think microsoft would come up with a way to test each ram stick. You also might noot have a faulty ram stick but a faultly ram slot.
Maybe windows doesnt have low-level access to that kind of stuff but rather it's the motherboard and or the CPU memory controller that handles which data goes to which stick? Just a maybe, idk
Had one ram come up as faulty and then swapped down too two pairs in each slot to find out which it was and all came back fine then put four back in and it came back fine? Does this mean false positive or it just missed it? Additionally have my discord, steam, browser tabs all crashing and restarting randomly. I'd assume this is from faulty ram?
Ive been having issues with my pc crashing , closing programs randomly , i got 2 sticks of 16gb ddr5 ram first test i ran came back an issue saying it was faulty , then i tried them both 1 at a time with no issues coming back and then i ran it both together again with this time came back with no issues any idea what could be wrong here?
might be the XMP or EXPO settings aren't quite right, check them in the BIOS against what is written on the RAM and if they don't match, manually and the timings
Got error on Windows Diagnostic... Checked all memory with MemTest86 and found one module bad. All others checked out and passed MemTest 86. Windows Memory Diagnostic still indicates a problem with memory. So... which one is correct??? Not sure where to go now.

At least show it with a faulty stick if you're making a tutorial. I have 4 sticks and 1 of them is bad, the daignostics says nothing about which stick is bad and what excatly is the defect.
Try getting into the setup when it boots, On win 7 it has every category listed with the stats and on the MEMORY category it tells you what is in each slot and if your memory is bad it will say 'EMPTY SLOT' while the good memory will say the type of memory and Amount (gb). In my case I had 2 good sticks and 2 bad sticks. Then I took the empty slot sticks and put them in the slots that recognized the other sticks and they suddenly were good. The problem was not with the memory, IT WAS THE SLOTS. So that's when I went to Ebay and found the same model for 92.00. After tossing the old one I had a few martini's and .......
