Brent Smith lead singer is Christian he says God Bless you at the end of the show but not the band. This song is about the fans and his band mates. Brent has had a slip up with drugs and alcohol after he was sober for years and his fans and band mates saved him. Sweet guy met Brent and band multiple times all great guys. Don't know anything about cancer never heard that & no Shinedown fans have said that.
Christian this is why I wanted you two to hear this. It makes me think of God and how he saves us and gives us daylight to move on in life. In the end everyone can walk away from you but God will be there.
